Great Location, Super Convenient
The hotel location is super good, on a safe, quite street yet 5 minutes walk to the Time Square and all different stores and restaurants. The hotel people are nice; the bed is comfortable but the room is too small. This is a place good for single or couple travel, but not to a big family.

This hotel was in a good location
This hotel was in a good location and size of room was okay. The only hestitation is that the walls were thin and therefore noisy. Also, it would have been great if they offered free wi-fi.

Total Dissapointment
1/31/2011
The HOTEL was under construction and one of the elevators was broken. The other was as slow as a anails crawl. The room was incredibly small and not at all as the picture in description seem. The furniture old and TV had to be replaced. Forget if you are looking for a romantic place. Your better off booking at the Red Roof inn with the price of this room. Never again! Construction made it an impossible trip.

Perfect Location, Small Rooms
The location was perfect for sightseeing. The room was a little small, but adequate for our needs. It is always hard when choosing a hotel on the internet, but we felt this was a competitively priced hotel for the location and still feel that way after staying here. I understand they are renovating now, so hopefully the hotel will be even better in the future.

CBC AKA COLD BUT CONVIENENT!!!!
A friend and I were visiting NY to see a friend do a musical show. We knew we would be out soaking up the city and embracing the weather lol, and not spending much time in the room!Well much to our dismay, our room was freezing!!!( renovations in the next room over...the bathroom was cold and the windows needed to be resealed or something. However, the room/bathroom were cleaned. So,when travelling this time of season request extra portable heater and blankets... and make sure there is no renovation being done to rooms nearby..or a change of room!! pro- got to checking early early, hotel staff are nice..great sushi lounge on the premises cons- our particular room was cold!!

Stay Away
Stay away from this hotel. We booked this hotel thinking that the pictures they provided would be what the hotel looked like. They took a picture of their one good room to lure people in. The rest of their rooms were terrible. The first room we went into was as big as a laundry room. There was just enough room for the bed. Also, there was a very loud humming noise that would come and go. After complaining, we were put in another room. This room, although bigger, had a hole in the floor that was covered up with carpet. The room heater would rock back and forth and bang against the wall and the bathroom toilet was so close to the wall you had to sit at an angle on the seat. One of the days that we were there we got stuff on the roof after the elevator malfunctioned. We asked workers on the roof questions about the elevator and they didn't speak English.

Expected more from the reviews and pix.
TV troubles, was burned in shower because the cold water didn't work & hot water got extremely hot.(They comp. a breakfast for it). On 6th floor and both elevators were out. Restaurant was good, location not bad at all. Staff pretty good. Older hotel with some new updates. Overall, not a bad hotel for the price, but the pix look nicer than it really is.

Amsterdam court hotel
The hotel kind of sucked. Very little similar to the pictures... was very small, loud, little privacy, the bed was hard and uncomfortable. The radiator leaked throughout the night.. the building was under construction, you could hear everyone else in the building as if they were in the same room as you. The staff was friendly though but a bit loud in the morning.
