This was a very nice hotel. I really enjoy my time here and will definitely stay here again.

Situated in the heart of midtown Manhattan, the Affinia Manhattan is within easy reach of many popular tourist spots and transport links. Madison Square Garden is right across the street and Penn station is also very close by. The hotel lobby is currently under renovation and quite noisy during the day. Staff were friendly and welcoming and catered to our specific needs. The room was a bit too hot but clean and comfortable. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at the Affinia Manhattan and would stay there again.

Hotel was very comfortable. We had wine left for us in the room.. Very clean and spacious. Can't wait to see lobby when finished!! We really enjoyed our stay and will book again in future

The location of this hotel doesnt get any better in NYC, we looked out over 7th Avenue and Madison Square Garden and could see Macys which was a 5 minute walk. Yes it was noisy on the street below but thats because its the heart of the city.We had paid for an upgraded room which had a balcony, complimentary fridge, safe, coffee machine and free refills which might also be in the standard rooms but we had nothing to compare it too! The room was large with a comfy bed and plenty of pillows and even a desk and chair. There could have been more tolietries and a bathtub would have been nice but you cant have everything! The only negative was the refurbishment in the foyer and lack of seating. There was signs telling people not to sit on the stairs but not saying where you could sit! Some temporary settees or chairs could of easily solved this issue. Overall we were very happy with the hotel and if you want to be where the action is, this is the place for you!

The location is great. At the moment the hotel is going through a referb so cannot give a fair review. The downside at the moment, outside at the rear building works were going on throughout the night so was quiet noisey. Although the windows have double glazing the draft through them was substantial so heating was on all the time. Overall I would stay again but not until the referb has been completed. Staff were very helpful and location was good for us.

I loved the hotel location and the staff were excellent. I did not like my room I felt it was more of a single than a double. But that would bet only criticism.

We have just returned from a trip to New York, we stayed in the affinia manhattan. The hotel was in a fab location, we had a perfect view of seventh avenue from our room window. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean. The room was small but very good value. Would definatley recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic time at the Affinia. This was a surprise trip for my husband's 30th Birthday and we had a fab time. I was a little miffed when we got to our room, as I had asked, way back in October, whether we could have a room high up with a good view. When we got there, we were only on the 4th floor, with no view whatsoever, and it was a special occasion. However, the room was comfortable and clean and a very nice base to explore New York. The windows were a little draughty, but the heating counterbalanced that! It was way too hot if you left it on all night! The beds were made every day and towels always changed. It was a fab location, especially as we were going to see a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden. There is quite a bit of traffic noise, but the beds are so comfy, we slept well anyway.

My husband and I staed there because we were attending a Knicks game The location was great, it was right across the street. The staff were friendly sand very helpful with any questions. The room was a bit small but for us it was fine since we were only there to sleep. I will be staying there again!!!
