Affinia Manhattan New York

First time in New York for myself and my Partner, We were there to celebrate her 40th and it was difficult to choose from the choice of hotels. Pair of us were really impressed with the hotel, staff, location and the deluxe guest room is fab, lounge, master bed, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen and believe me after sightseeing all day, you really need a tidy room. The location was great since Penn Station was right across the street. Otherwise the area doesn't have much but it's walking distance to Chelsea and we even walked to Gramercy Park area. Great for a weekend stay and the kitchenette in the room was a nice touch. I would stay here again due to the factor that the rooms are very large and it's across the street from the train station.

I stayed at the Affinia Manhattan with two other girlfriends and had a wonderful time. We were surprised at the location of the hotel -- we could virtually walk anywhere. It was right down the street from Times Square and we even walked to 5th ave and into Chelsea.

Lovely experience at a nice hotel. Some traffic noise and only view (from my room) was of other buildings, however I'd recommend it for very nice front desk staff who were very helpful to me when the online reservation I had made earlier that day had unfortunately not yet been submitted to the hotel. Seven hours later. Great room service breakfast. Very small bathroom but great water pressure and nice toiletries. Very good value for the money. Super convenient location right across from Penn Station. Would stay again.

The entrance is beautiful and the staff is friendly and helpful! Our room was the smallest type 2 double beds, very well appointed, but I would have liked a comfortable chair to sit. I will upgrade next time to a room with a sitting area! Housekeeping, room service all extraordinary! And please people remember to tip!! I have asthma and my room was clean and I never got sick even with the hotel hosting the Westminster dog show!!!

All the process of check in and staying runs soft and easy through all the stating and at New York that is ammost. Since is at MSG and Penn Station, doors these Hotel is good spotted.

Hotel is nice and rooms are big. However the price is sometimes to high for a single night in a hotel room. My room had no kitchen. They also have no discounted parking and they charge $15.00 daily for internet.

This was our second time and it was better than i had remembered. Perfect location, right across from Madison Square Garden. Great hotel bar with great bartenders. Comfortable beds and pillows. Will definetly stay again next year!!

All of the concierge was very helpful, providing maps and instructions from where to eat to getting to specific locations. The night shift also had an awesome person at the front desk helping out with anything he could! There are lots of shops just down the way some and if its not enough, you've got penn station just off to the right when you first walk out. I was making my first trip to NYC with a friend and we managed to find a good deal with this hotel, it worked out great for us, hope the same for anyone else! {Happy New Year!}

Arrived around 8pm to an upgraded minisuite. Room very nicely decorated with plenty of space, which is unusual for New York. Niles restaurant which is attached to the hotel is also an added bonus as very good food for a reasonable price. You also get 20% discount on dinner prices. Staff very friendly and attentive. Would recommend and stay there again.
