This was a very nice hotel. I really enjoy my time here and will definitely stay here again.

The Affinia Manhattan is well located but on our recent stay we found the lobby to be completely under construction, the room we booked unavailable and the room we were given unsuitable. My friend and I had booked two double beds and were given a King and a pullout couch. According to Affinia staff a pull-out couch is just as good as a bed...since when! When I asked about wi-fi they decided to give it to us for free rather than the outrageous 14.95 a day. When we got our bill they had charged us for it and we had to go and stand in line and get it changed. The bathroom had a shower with no bath and the grout had seen better/cleaner days. I won't be rushing back to Affinia

We were given a room immediately above the hotel entrance with huge flags outside our window . The first night we had a big wind all night. The flags flapping against our windows made it almost impossible to sleep even using earplugs. Because of regular street noise problem, ear plugs were necessary but sufficient to sleep the other nights of our stay. The lobby was also being renovated, which made it look like a dump, even though otherwise it was a nice hotel. Also when we checked in there were only two staff on duty and it took a long time to get service.

Our room was very large with two separate bedrooms, a living space and a kitchenette. But it was fairly dark, with only small windows in the different rooms and there was at least one cockroach that we saw/killed. Did not sleep well after that and had no interest lingering in the room the next morning. The parking was $65 for just one night and required a wait in a very long reception line (the same everyone else was in to check in/out) to pay before we could collect the car.

Having 5 people in a hotel room in NYC I was a little frightened to see what the space would look like. To my surprise the 1 br suite was a perfect for 3 adults and 2 children. The only downside was the bathroom was extremely tiny, but it was made up for in the size of the sleeping space. It had a bedroom, sitting area and kitchenette. We arrived VERY early and they were able to give us our room which was much appreciated after a long drive, and to our surprise we had a large patio (no patio furniture, which would have made the stay 5 stars) with a great view of the city. The hotel lobby was under renovations, but it didn't affect our stay. Pricey valet per day but that is to be expected in the city. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to families.

Situated in the heart of midtown Manhattan, the Affinia Manhattan is within easy reach of many popular tourist spots and transport links. Madison Square Garden is right across the street and Penn station is also very close by. The hotel lobby is currently under renovation and quite noisy during the day. Staff were friendly and welcoming and catered to our specific needs. The room was a bit too hot but clean and comfortable. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at the Affinia Manhattan and would stay there again.

Hotel was very comfortable. We had wine left for us in the room.. Very clean and spacious. Can't wait to see lobby when finished!! We really enjoyed our stay and will book again in future

the location of hotel was good,the room for 3 person was very small ,lobby was under construction and too noisy .

The location of this hotel doesnt get any better in NYC, we looked out over 7th Avenue and Madison Square Garden and could see Macys which was a 5 minute walk. Yes it was noisy on the street below but thats because its the heart of the city.We had paid for an upgraded room which had a balcony, complimentary fridge, safe, coffee machine and free refills which might also be in the standard rooms but we had nothing to compare it too! The room was large with a comfy bed and plenty of pillows and even a desk and chair. There could have been more tolietries and a bathtub would have been nice but you cant have everything! The only negative was the refurbishment in the foyer and lack of seating. There was signs telling people not to sit on the stairs but not saying where you could sit! Some temporary settees or chairs could of easily solved this issue. Overall we were very happy with the hotel and if you want to be where the action is, this is the place for you!
