Get away from it all-just not too far. With an array of soothing services and comforting amenities Affinia Gardens is a tranquil retreat in a beautiful Upper East Side neighborhood. Deceptively close to some of Manhattans most popular attractions-like Central Park just four blocks away. Step into the Serenity Lounge just off the lobby. Instantly the city recedes. Sample the exotic flavors of the complimentary tea bar-including our very own custom blend. Each month a Tranquil Hour brings wine and cheese as a special respite from the citys frantic pace. This gentle ambiance pervades the entire hotel. Our 129 suites offer generous living space including full kitchens large vanities with Hollywood lighting and the thoughtful touch of curtains instead of closet doors. Four notable neighborhood restaurants provide room service. we will be happy to deliver groceries right to your suite. Most unusual in Manhattan are the first-floor Private Garden Terrace Suites. Relax on your own furnished patio that opens onto the green spaces and lovely fountain on the more secluded back side of the hotel. While not specifically reserved for extended stays they do tend to make one lose track of the time. You could really get to like it here at Affinia Gardens.

Great stay.

I brought my 7-year-old daughter and had a great time at this hotel. It worked out perfectly. It was the quietest and largest room I have ever had in NY. It was great having a little kitchen and a supermarket within a block. The location was great.

Friend getaway

The staff was fantastic and very attentive. It got very hot while we were there and they turned on the air conditioner even though it was prior to their normal date. The bathroom door squeeked and within 5 minutes of us telling them, they came and fixed it. We had a junior suite for three people and it could have easily fit 6 people. Easy access to subway. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to visit NYC.

This Hotel Has Fallen From Grace

Used to be a great place..like staying in your own apartment on the Upper East Side. Well, no more, my suite was not properly cleaned... dirty bathroom, kitchen, kitchen dishware. window treatments. Staff ignored a do not disturb sign and woke me up. Computer used to print boarding passes in hotel lounge was so dirty the keyboard was actually gray.

Great Stay

Stayed for 1 night when I was in town for business and it was great. Huge rooms by new york standards (as I've heard) and great location (1 block to subway station as well as plenty restaurants). Will definitely go back with the family.

Practical suite hotel

It was the eight or ninth time we stay here. Solid offerings for a very decent price on the Upper East Side. It is very practical if one plans to receive people in the room.

Perfect Apartment-Like Hotel

The one-bedroom suite was spacious and clean, with a functioning kitchen, living room with desk area, and large bedroom. The bathroom was small, but the spaciousness of the rest of the room compensated for it. This is not a luxury hotel, but the staff treated me as if I were a luxury hotel guest. They accommodated all requests. They were warm, friendly and remarkably helpful. The gym was sufficient, working and clean. The small lobby area was nice and had complimentary coffee and tea most of the day. Location is great.

Christmas Week at the Affinia Gardens

What a wonderful place. Fabulous large clean junior suite. The price was fabulous. The staff attentive. The location on East 64th Street between Second and Third Avenue was fine for us since we did not need to be smack in mid-town. So we took leisurely walks down Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue to see the store decorations, the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Plaza and have lunch and dinner with friends.. I have lived and worked in New York City for 40-years. Now retired and living in Washington DC, this hotel has leaped to the top of our favorite hotel list.

Brasserie Maison at Broadway and 52nd Street. Bistro food, charming atmosphere, good value, friendly staff who don't rush you out the door. Action all around outside. Great outside dining in the warm weather.
