Amazing View
We stayed on the 32nd floor, what an amazing view! The Murry Hill Market right next door was very convinent to grab a pop or snack. The only thing was that the local subway was a few blocks away and when you have been walking and sightseeing all day it feels like forever untill you make it to the door.

The Murry Hill Market right next door was great. I bought bagles and cream cheese to keep in my kitchen at the Affinia. So I had breakfast every morning right there. It was perfect to stock up on a few groceries to save some money!

Fabulous view
Unbelievable view over NYC skyscrapers, very good location, near to subway and walk distance to Empire State Building, Grand Central, etc. Not very friendly stuff but maybe because of the number of guests. Comfortable room with big window. The only disappointment was the room service. Overall it was a pleasant stay there.

Quality stay?
The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The doormen were excellent! It was very noisy on the 3rd floor and it smelled. And the housekeeping lady came into our room twice when we had the "Do Not Distrub" sign up.

Decent Hotel, Good location
Everything went smoothly our entire 6 night stay. No real complaints. We came we went we saw we slept. Hotel is in a great location though. Can walk to a lot of attractions, easy access to subway, restaurants all very close.

Great Location
Very friendly staff and a great location in the heart of midtown Manhattan. Short walk to Empire State Building and easy access to Lexington Ave. Subway line. Only complaint would be that they charge you like $15 bucks a day if you want to use their cable internet in the room. Overall great experience!

Excellent hotel and great workspace
I was there for business but will definitely go back for pleasure. Great room, comfortable bed, roomy, and a kitchen to boot! The desk was like a corner office and very comfortable to get lots of work done. excellent value!

Excellent hospitality and location
Our experience was fantastic. From the hotel ambiance and room view (granted we were on the 26th floor which holds some relativity) to the friendly staff and impeccable location, the Affinia Dumont stands alone in Murray Hill. We stayed at the Affinia for a week to celebrate out anniversary and to celebrate our engagement!! =D Compared to previous trips taken to Manhattan, the rooms are more spacious and the hotel grants a generous amount of amenities. Additionally, the staff never ceased to amaze us when exercising courtesy and demonstrating that they are all knowledgeable and helpful professionals. Thanks so very much for making our trip the most memorable...

Keys to someone else's room?
While I like the setup of the rooms, I'm disturbed that on 2 occassions in the last month the front desk has put either me or a client into a room that was already occuppied by another person. One mistake is understandable, but it happened on 2 consecutive visits, and the person who was barged in on says it happens here all the time. WHAT? So, after thinking I've found a new hotel to stay at in NY, I think I'm going to keep looking.
