Staff was very responsive and friendly. Minor plumbing problem resolved quickly. Concierge had great recommendations for dining. Great location for transportation, sightseeing, and walking the neighborhood. Right in the middle of everything without the noise of the city overwhelming you.

OK stay at 70 Park
Room was spacious and well appointed, with a good working desk and lighting. Lobby was small and felt a bit dead. Staff seemed friendly and helpful, although I had little interaction with them aside from check in/check out. A very good location.

Very nice hotel
LOVED the afternoon wine party! That's a special touch that I've not had at any other NYC hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly - that's always a big plus. I requested a room with a view, and we were given a room overlooking Park Avenue - very nice. The hotel is oh-so close to Grand Central Station - you can catch any subway here. The room was clean, pretty, very nice. The bathroom was small, but upscale and functional. I would stay here again.

Would stay here again!
Traveled to NYC for leisure and hotel was a great choice and very nice price. Had a nice, clean corner room on the 9th floor. Room size was very decent and amenities within the room were great. Bathroom had full size bathtub and overall good use of space. Very functional and comfortable for 2 people. Staff was very nice, responsive and unintrusive. Location of hotel was nice since it wasn't smack in the middle of everything (which meant less noise), but also close enough to walk to shopping on Fifth Ave., Times Square, Grand Central Station, and many other places. Pet friendly hotel (we didn't have pets with us), but nice to know the option existed.

Awesome hotel experience in a great city
This by far was the best hotel we have ever stayed in while in NYC. This is our third trip to the city and certainly the best. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, everyone had smiles on their faces. The room was very nice, comfortable, and had some of those little touches that you would not expect. Room faced Park Avenue which was great, had great AC, had a large flat panel TV, and even dimmers on all the lights so you could set a really comfortable mood in the room as desired. Room was larger than we expected and made you feel at home. Bathroom was very nice as well, about the size you would expect. Hotel is only a couple of blocks from Grand Central where you can take the subway anywhere, but you can also walk as things are close such as the Empire State Building. Hotel is in a city neighborhood which is a welcome change from staying around Times Square. Made you feel like you were going home, which we really liked. At night it was quiet and felt safe. We would stay here again and again, and likely would stay no place else in NYC. We love this city too. We walked the Brooklyn Bridge which was great, subway stops right there at the beginning of the walking path. We spent a day in Central Park as well, that was great to just hang out with everyone else, more of the locals. NYC gets a bad rep for being unfriendly, we have never experienced anything like that, from the hotel staff to the cab drivers, if you are friendly they will be too. Go to NYC and stay at this hotel!

70 park avenue hotel
It was a lovely place to stay and I would stay there again. The drinks in the lobby were a welcome touch. The rooms had luxurious appointments. The concierge recommended some great places to eat. My only complaint was that our room on the 3rd floor did not have a clear window to see out, so I felt like I was in a basement or something. The location was good -- near the ESB and Macy's. At first I thought it was a little too far east from the action, but it turned out OK -- what's a few more (long) blocks?
