Great staff, average accommodations
This is the least impressive Kimpton hotel I've visited. The staff was very polite and helpful but the room was disappointing. I coud touch the ceilings standing flat footed and the finish out was done poorly. Bed was comfortable and the linens were nice. There are better 4 star options in the area.

Great location and comfortable stay
The hotel is just 5 mins from Grand Central Terminal which made it perfect for travelling around. 15 mins walk and you can be at the Empire State Building or TImes Square. We stopped in a double queen which was lovely and comfortable. We had a little difficulty with the heating but to be honest it wasn't a major issue so we didn't follow up. The linen was nice and clean though some of the furniture looked a little dated,as did the bathroom.

Fabulous 'Forty' Celebration with the girls
Quiet area yet only a couple of blocks from the hustle and bustle of Times Square. Wine hour is a great idea and very sociable. Special mention to Kevin the concierge who arranged our transfers to the hotel from the airport - thanks again. Beds were really comfy which was greatly appreciated after hours and hours of shopping. As this was our first visit to NYC I would highly recommend this hotel due to location, value for money and overall ambience.

PERFECT BOUTIQUE HOTEL
I stayed here for four nights with my partner as I was running the NY marathon. The hotel was just perfect. A lovely cosy little home from home. The staff were smiling, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was bright and airy, was spotless and the decor and layout was so gorgeous I want my bedroom back home to look similar. Will definitely stay here again when we return to New York early next year.Well done to the Kimpton hotel group for a really memorable stay.

Cute and Fun Boutique Hotel
The Staff was excellent. Super helpful! I forgot my curling iron and they found one for me complimentary. They also were very helpful at finding a place to grab a quick and cheap bite late at night that was close by as well as finding my girlfriend and I nightlife to do (on a Monday night none the less). The rooms are decorated cute and trendy and the beds are super comfy. The only complaint is that maybe because it was an older building I experienced a not so nice musty/moldy smell in the hallways. (I stayed on the second floor). My room did not have this smell, thank goodness. The best part was the 5pm wine social every night! Would definitely stay there again.
