Great location
For a first time visit to NYC, Kempton on Park Ave was a great location. Our room was small but very clean and comfortable. We did not east at their restaurant. We checked in late and the restaurant was closed. From then on we were out most of each day and checked out a number of eating places. Everyone at the hotel were very helpful when we asked questions about places to see, eat, best means of transportation, etc. We left our phone charger in the room. We called after arriving back home and they mailed it to us. This room at most other places would have been over priced but for the location, it was rasonable.

Macy's was close by and many attraction were in reasonable walking distance. Central station was 3 blocks away and we used the subway many times. We were able to see all area's of NYC.

Great Location - Hotel - You decide
The amenities listed were non-existent at the Hotel itself - they had a contract with an off-site health club for exercise equipment and pool access, the spa services were also off-site (which is the reason they offer in-room spa service however if you get the in-room spa service your room must be large enough to accommodate the spa table - which means you may need to upgrade if you have a King Premier) I was disappointed that there was no in-room coffee, (you had to either go downstairs for coffee between 8-10:30 or order room service) (ridiculous) the dining was in a bar setting (and we don't drink and don't frequent bars) The breakfast which we did have on the first day left something (no a lot)to be desired and was extremely overpriced. Our visit to New York itself was great the hotel I'd give a 2-1/2 star rating.

For a great New York experience go down the street (2 block) to Grand Central Terminal where you can dine in the finest Oyster Bar in the city. There's also a restaraunt right before the Terminal that claims to have the best and fastest breakfast in New York. And plenty of shopping for those shopaholics.

Great location but.....
The location of this hotel is excellent; all major attractions in Manhattan are easily accessible. The staff are friendly and perform their tasks well. The hotel itself was somewhat disappointing however. Dining options are not recommended and very limited. The bed mattress was old, mishapen and far too soft; it should have been replaced. The bathroom was too small and poorly laid-out. It was not possible to sit straight upon the commode due to the presence of a room heater which was directly adjacent. The window air conditioner did not function well and there was absolutely no ventilation in the bathroom.

Beautiful, quiet area
My daughter and I were traveling alone and we felt very safe in this hotel. The staff's friendly, every afternoon they had fruit and wine. Murray Hill is a very nice area. We walked to everything we did. It's several blocks to broadway but we didn't mind the walk to have the quiet.

Erinomaisella sijainnilla oleva hotelli!
Hotelli oli kaikin puolin hyvä. Henkilökunta oli mielyttävää porukkaa ja kaikki palvelut toimivat kiitettävästi. Sijainti oli mielestäni loistava, käveli alle 10minuuttiia Broadway risteykseen ja Grand Central Station oli aivan vieressä.

super hotel, beste lage in NY
das hotel ist bestens gelegen!! es liegt ruhig, man kann jedoch viele sehenswürdigkeiten zu fuss erkunden. empire state building sieht man vom fenster aus, centrastation ist 2 min entfernt umd die fifth avenue und den timesquare erreicht man auch sehr schnell!! es ist ein süsses, kleineres, sehr sauberes hotel mit freundlichem und zuvorendem personal und super service!!

würd ich wieder buchen, super lage
Das zimmer war für 4 personen recht klein. auch das bad war sehr klein. dafür war das zimmer sehr modern und mit stil eingerichtet. die betten waren sehr bequem, minibar üpig ausgestattet. frühstück ist sehr teuer. da personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. die lage ist sensationell zu diesem preis.

New York Begeisterte
Jederzeit wieder
Das Zimmer hätte für drei Personen etwas grösser sein dürfen und nachts war es ziemlich laut (Lüftung vom Nebengebäude). Die Lage war super, das Personal nett und hilfsbereit. Am Morgen gab es jeweils gratis Kaffee, Tee und Äpfel.

Bon hôtel
2ème séjour à NYC en 5 mois. Bon hôtel bien place près de Grand Station et donc du métro sur la 42eme rue. Tous les sites e Midtown accessible à pied sans problème.Très belle chambre avec lit King Size pour moins de 200 €. Petit déjeuner cher pris à proximité. Un petit plaisir, le prendre sous la rampe de Grand Station. Happy hours à 17h et café gratis le matin à l'hôtel. Belle vue vue Park Avenue mais un peu de bruit s'estompant la nuit. Un bon choix.
