Great hotel and location - for the price

Good budget hotel, great location. About half a mile -- a 10/15-minute walk -- from the N/Q subway line (Broadway Station), right across the East River from Central Park South. Room clean, decent size, nothing fancy. Ample free parking in the hotel lot. Good staff. For anything around a hundred bucks, a great deal; for much more than that, no.

Not At All Wheelchair Accessible

I was really upset when I arrived and found the claims (on-site) of wheelchair access was false; there was no elevator; I was forced to use stairs to the second floor to get to my room. Was in pain all night from using my cane and climbing those stairs.VERY DISAPPOINTED [...]

Almost a good hotel

The room was fairly clean, with the exception of all the pubic hairs on the bed sheets. I don't mean just a few, I mean they were everywhere. Other than that, they changed the towels every day and made up the room. Not much in the line of services, but it's about what I would expect from a hotel of this type. The price was reasonable, and it was not a long subway ride into Manhattan.

It is not worth the money!

HAS A OLD PERSON SCENT TO IT

Although the room was larger than my friends rooms staying in other parts of the city I was dissatisfied with the cleanliness. The room smelled like an old persons home and all my clothing picked up the smell. It was outdated and needed some remodeling but if you are just using it to sleep its OK.

never been in a worse hotel

We arrived at our hotel and was greeted by a nice but uncommunicative individual - since he hardly spoke any English. We were told that we were being given a room with 2 double beds but would only be charged for a regular. Interestingly enough, it was actually 2 rooms each with their own bed and bathroom. The first thing that knocked you over was the urine smell in the small entryway. I always check for bed bugs, no matter what class of hotel I am staying in, and when I pulled back the sheets it was obvious that the cleaning staff had not even bothered to change the sheets - disgustingly filthy, pubic hairs and all! One advantage of the 2 rooms was the other bed had clean sheets. I would stay in a rental car before I would stay in this hotel. And did I mention that this room did not come cheap.
