A gem in Long Island City
I stayed at the Sleep Inn with my boyfriend for a weekend escape this past weekend. This hotel is perfect if you're on a budget but don't want to give up little luxuries like pretty shampoo bottles and 2 bars of bath soap. Also, the Sleep Inn offers free breakfast, don't believe the "continental breakfast" line they give you on the website. All they had was bagels, croissants and yogurt. But, besides the boring breakfast, everything else was quite good. I recommend this for families and couples alike.

walk up to 30th avenue and enjoy the many hookah lounges that LIC's sister has to offer.

It wasn't a bad hotel and we have a good time. It's a very appropiate hotel (cheap and near manhattan, just two stops from the train station) to go back there after a long day out, just to rest. The personnel was very good. The only thing that I can complaint about is that you can hear everything next to your room. I had reservation for almost one week, and I would stay here for a next visit to the city.

Very Good
Highly recommend for those who want to reduce a budget. They provide toothpaste, shaver, shampoo,conditioner,soap, and face cream but no toothbrush. The hotel is very close to the subway station: 21st Queen's Bridge, F line. You can get Manhattan in 15 minutes or something. My room was so neat & not bad breakfast downstairs.

This is a very practical hotel situated near a subway station with the F train which goes into Manhattan. Stores are somewhat limited to delis and take-outs within walking distance, but the hotel staff serve continental breakfast. The breakfast area has a television and can be used as a dining area for take-outs.

Great location for the price
I stayed two times at this hotel now and I really liked each stay. Manhattan is just two stops away with the Metro and the closest station is in 3 min walking distance. The room was clean, breakfast was alright (a bit crowded though) and the staff was nice.

Chicago's World Traveler
Last minute trip to NY
The area doesn't seem very safe but we had NO issues at all walking to the train station the three days we were in NY. The train station is super close to this hotel and probably the cleanest of them all (at least compared to the station in Manhattan). The staff was very friendly and very helpful. After we checked out, we needed to leave our baggage somewhere for a few hours and for a $1.00 a suitcase, I felt comfortable leaving them with them. The beds are extremely comfortable by the way but don't expect much from the breakfast they offer in the mornings. I'm glad they had that option at least.
