BFF girls trip
Worked for us, for the price.
Well we mainly needed a place to sleep, as we were gone from 9am till midnight every day. This place was just that. It's location is great as you can take the 7 train right into grad central or Times Square, and it's right there by the hotel. pizza place around the corner is amazing! My only complaints would be the bed was very hard, and we had room 121 which is by the staircase door and lobby area. Also where breakfast is. It was so noisy! We woke up from the telephones at all hours, in the morning when people came through the stairway the door slamming made our door move so that was annoying! And the breakfast was nothing special! We actually skipped it altogether after the first day. But if you're looking to see the city, and just have a place to sleep and shower it works for that! Room was clean, no problems there at all!

Save yourself disappointment and AVOID!
- Area around hotel very dark, unsafe feeling at night. Possibly because this is most certainly not a touristy area at all. Me and my partner were scared walking to and from hotel to subway at night. - cigarette burns in duvet (in a non-smoking room too) - extremely strong smell of incense throughout hotel (especially lobby). So strong it gives you a headache! - very few tables in breakfast area. Had to stand most mornings - unhelpful and unfriendly staff. Asked numerous questions about our stay and got the same answers..."I don't know" or "we can't do that"....which brings me onto my final but in our opinion worst point.... The hotel does not have the facilities for or is unwilling to store bags before checkin or after checkout. Think about this carefully because we flew out at 7pm and checkout was at noon. This meant we had 7 hours plus in the airport! Simply because there was nowhere to store out bags in the interim time! I have NEVER had this problem before and I well travelled. I hate to leave such poor feedback but you really should be warned!!!

A bad hotel
It was a bad stay in this hotel. While booking there was no clear mention of the fact that it was a smoking room I booked. They gave me a room which was very bad. Even after requesting a lot, they didnt help me providing any other room . It was midnight and my first day in NY, so I chose not to venture out so late in night. Somehow I stayed in the room keeping my window and doors open. The room was unclean, AC broken and very stinking. Overall, one of the worst hotel I stayed in my life.

NYC
The room was very small. We could barely walk around the bed. Because we were "only staying one night" the staff put us in a very a very small basement room. I over heard the two staff members discussing which room to put us in. The window was level with the ground, so traffic noise was very noticeable. On the positive side, the room was clean and we were able to check in early and they did have guest parking. The continental breakfast was well stocked for what was offered.

Baddest timing
Good location but extremely overpriced
I picked a particularly bad week to be in NYC and couldn't find anything under $200 for even a 2-star in Manhattan. Therefore, I looked for a hotel in Long Island City located right next to a subway stop. I found this hotel that is at the 33rd street stop. The location is great. Amenities befit a 2-star hotel. Can't store luggage upon checkout of the hotel. I can't believe the price I paid for a 2-star on Long Island City (!) but I had to be in town that week.

Location is fine but not a good value for money
The best thing about hotel is its location from Subway (33 St Rawson ) and Queensboro Plaza. Within 15 minutes, you are at Times Square, NYC. 7 Eleven 24 hour store is in the adjacent building. The rooms are very small without the microwave. So, you need to go to kitchen area if you want to use microwave. If you want to store your luggage for few hours, hotel charges you around $50 for 3 hours. Thats very expensive.

Satisfactory
It was an affordable alternative to the high New York prices and satisfactory overall. This location did have internet access and a continental breakfast. The service was ok and at least no complaints of bed bugs like others.
