Good Hotel for an economic stay in NY
Rooms: basic rooms but clean and comfortable. bathroom is good too but shower head is tricky to turn on.. Transfer from LGA: around 15min drive and $30 Location: neighborhood doesn't look very nice but 2 blocks away to subway station to Manhattan Staff: Most staff were helpful and I have nothing bad to say in this section.

Very very not happy
Made mistake. The description for the hotel is not true.
A very rude female staff. I called to see if I could check in early from my car rental at JFK airport around 9:30 am. She said check in time is 3:00 pm but I was told by her to come anyway. she will see what she can do for me at the time. I spent quite some time to find the place and got there around 11:30 am. NO ROOM. "Not a room available" she said, I would be happy to hear "We don't have any room available now and please come after 3:00 pm" She made my stay very difficult making me go around. Later that day when I checked into a room, I told her I paid extra for City view room. "You are getting a room what you reserve for" and I got a room #815. Very small room- not much space to move around. I would never spend another night in this hotel. I don't see how this hotel could have any city view rooms. There is Howard Johnson between this hotel and the city.

Not bad for its price
Stayed for only one night , everything was good besides the fact that desk guy charged my credit card twice ! Over all was great though , I would recommend it and probably go back again!

Average, served its purpose
Rooms could use a little updating and area around hotel did not feel safe at night. They did have security guard posted out front however . Very close to 58th st bridge
