friendly staff and clean room

Although the facility is dated, the room was clean and the hotel is located close to subway transportation to Manhattan. It was very reasonably priced, especially when you consider the free van service to and from JFK.

Great location

Really good location Our free pick up service from airport consisted of waiting over 2 hours after 3 phone calls Room service did not answer twice Staff in restaurant are friendly but desk staff could try more Room was cleaned every day!! Good food

Ideal for business trip in Queens

Found location and staff most suitable for a business trip that had me on a tight schedule. Knowing my business needs, the entire staff helped keep me on my sched. Front desk, restaurant staff, and room service were all most responsive.

Time-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

Don't try to hail your own taxi from this location. The traffic is heavy on a broad blvd. The service desk called for my taxi pick-up.

Perfect for the location

I wanted something close to the airport, and this was it. Not wanting to rent a car, their airport shuttle was perfect. The staff found me a taxi when I needed one. The bar & restaurant staff were very nice and accomodating. The staff took away the worries of scheduling and provided any information and answered all my questions about places to see, where to eat, etc. "I'll be back !"

Overpriced

I know NYC is expensive. But $200 for a night in a dump is ridiculous. The beds were hard. The salsa dance was playing right below my room in the bar. The bars must not close till 3 am because it was very loud. I couldn't sleep so I went downstairs to the bar to see where all the noise was coming from. Ordered a drink it was $10 for a watered down rum and diet coke. Next time I'm sleeping in the car.

I booked this hotel because it's close to Chinatown in flushing and it offers guest parking. The staff and amenities were not very good. The worst thing was that WiFi didn't work at all.

Needs some attention

The hotel was a bit dirty and in need of upgrades. Room was hot even in November, but opening the window created alot of noise from the parking lot. I don't think I would stay there again....

serious problems...

Oct 28. 2012: Window was open and it was cold in the room when we came. After struggling with the broken/stuck window I closed it and turned on Heating. It was blowing cold air. I went to reception anked to correct it. The answer was ridicules to the level of being funny: "We don't provide heat. By law we are not required to provide any heat unless it's below 50 outside"... They were very polite saying it though... One more. Though I dont have conclusive proof, we had a couple of strange bites. Check out bedbug registry... There a bedbug report for PanAm as of August 2012...

was advertised as a 3-star!

Very uncomfortable bedding! when we booked, we booked for a queen... When we arrived, only double beds were available. This was difficult as my fiancé is 300lbs. The next day they told us we could get a queen suite but when we went to the room, it was a smoking room... Yuk! A very disappointing stay for my first visit to NYC.
