Ramada Plaza Albany

The front desk staff was excellent. The room was what you would expect, good, with all of the amenities provided, clean etc. The breakfast was good, although some things were surprisingly missing, like plain cream cheese. I did NOT like the plastic utensils; even with paper plates, I think regular flatware could be provided. The second morning, the potatoes were in the form of pancakes, but actually I should say that the grease had some potato in it. The coffee was pretty bad, too, which I was surprised by. The room staff, of course, were unseen and unheard. Despite the fact that our towels were not on the floor -- we're as environmentally aware as anyone -- they were replaced. That was nice for us, but flies in the face of their sign. Also, the bed was made with the top sheet on TOP of the comforter, rather than the normal way. That was a minor problem, and a source of giggles -- in addition to frustration for the person who doesn't like to sleep with heavy blankets.

Off the highway, nice hotel, good breakfast buffet

Clean, comfortable and a good breakfast buffet w/ eggs, sausage/bacon, muffins, breads, yogurt, cereals, etc.

We had a great one night's stay here. The staff were helpful;the room comforable w/ a great bed & clean; the breakfast was wonderul--eggs w/ broccoli, toast, muffins, bagels, yogurt, sausage/bacon, fresh fruit, cereals, jams/peanut butter!

It was okay. There was frequent, all-night noise from I-90 which is directly behind the hotel. I would suggest getting a room on the front side of the building to avoid this road noise. The free breakfast was just so so, but appreciated. The essential points of the room were clean. Some bathroom essentials such as facial tissue and bath mat were not stocked. Hotel staff were helpful and nice. I just don't feel that, at this price, my money was well spent.

The hotel is in need of some attention as it is showing some major wear. The pool area is good at all. The front desk staff needs to learn how to treat customers.

This was a good deal for my money, and all the amenities were there and great customer service, but the carpet was really dirty. The first room they sent me to smelled like mildew, as if the carpet was soaked and never aired out. So I asked to move to another room and that carpet was dirty too. I walked around in flip flops cause I was concerned about what is stained in there. They need new carpets in the room badly, but at least the bathroom was clean with marble counter tops.

We arrived late in the eve. but I did notice the carpet was dingy and dirty. The next morning in the light of day I noticed how run down the room was. Peeling ceilings,moldings, etc. No one was allowed to take off their shoes!! When I was brushing my teeth at the sink I felt like my legs were getting wet. I looked underneath the sink and saw it was leaking quite a bit. Very disappointed!!

Everything was clean and easy here. I had no complaints at all. The bed was great, and the location perfect.

Rooms were cold, bathroom toilet was very low, like made for the kids, smell of urine in the bathroom, charge of $15.00 for extra rollaway bed to bring it to the room (was not told earlier), what a rip off, looking at the torn ceilings could not sleep on the extra bed, due to the springs poking into the body, end up sleeping on the Hotel floor. we have booked 10 rooms. for a sleepless night. every one in our group was not happy, never again.
