Night in South Lake

If your looking for something cheap, this is the hotel for you. You get what you pay for! No valet, no table games, the rooms are run down, but it was cheap!

Nice Staff, the rest stinks.

The Green Lantern Motel for $39 on weeknights is a better value. The Horizon is falling apart.

Great Price. Great Customer Service!

It was great, staff were friendly. Two things: Quite a walk down the hall to our room and hallways needed cleaning at the time; probably someone had a wedding (rice on carpet). Great views of the snow peak.

Worst hotel ever

During the winter they only have heat running. Our room was 77 degrees with no way to cool it down. They brought us a fan that did not work. Then they brought us a heater. Finally they brought us a box fan that moved the air, but was no cooler. Then at 2 am a knock on the door from housekeeping with a fan! Guess they did not get the message that we had gotten one much earlier. The guy groaned and walked away. Ice machine on our floor did not work. Floor below same thing. Floor above had ice. Woohoo

Disgusting rooms

This is the probably the worst hotel I've stayed in. The room had stains all over the carpet and on the chairs. There was not top sheet on the beds. The shower curtain had mold all over it. The toilet was broken and kept running after flushed it. The tv remote didn't work. It was not worth the price.

just ok

Friendly staff. Ample parking. Centrally located. Priced only at discounted rate. Otherwise not worth it. Outdated. Horrible beds. Needed ibruprofen to get up in the morning. Really really really dirty and smelly floors. Carpets especially. No hope of watching tv. Stations were fuzzy and few. Super old tv's.
