Average Room / Great Price

the room/hotel wasn't the absolute greatest or cleanest but for the price we paid (real cheap), it met expectations. the drinks were extremely cheap too. if u want to save cash and just need a place to crash, this is it.

Quick Trip.

The room is very big but outdated. However, there is a small vanity next to the bathroom. I would steer clear of the buffet even if you get it for free by getting a Player's Club card. I do enjoy this hotel because it is far enough from the strip that you do not get too many of the College students at night and during the weekend, but it is a close enough walk to the major strip. We could see everything from our room and do not feel we missed out. There was minimal noise and there were coupons given at check-in. Affordable and no frills. I did win a lot at the casino which was nice. This place probably has the loosest slots in the area.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Don't try the buffet at Sands Regency. 4 trays of food, not too appealing. Go to the Silver Legacy brunch instead. Lots of selection and it is some good exercise as you head back to your room or walk around Downtown Reno.

Fine for the money

It was just a quick over-nighter at an inexpensive hotel. The bed was quite comfy. Good food at restaurants.

Excellent value

The hotel is an excellent value for the money ($25) night. I'm not an enthusiast for casinos but one can't beat the price. You'll want a "Player's Card" to get a discount on the buffet.

Overnight in Reno

Room was fine. Shower was great. Has those hangers that I hate that you can't hang anywhere but the closet. No coffee maker in the room so had to go to Mel's diner and pay and arm and a leg for breakfast or go off property. We weren't there for dinner which looked like a great value. We were only there one night. Terrific value for the money.
