Best hotel in Reno

The staff is friendly the food is great and reasonable except for Copa and the Buffet. Mels dinner has the greatest steak and eggs in town. The Bell Hops are fun and if you take the time to know them they will help you have fun in Reno.

Very basic, but a pretty good room. No coffeemaker, no refrigerator. Also there were no comforters on the bed, but there was an air conditioner. We were on the 14th floor so there was barely any noise. There was a small vanity adjacent to the bathroom door. The whole room was big, but the furniture was rather outdated. Light brown wooden pieces with dings and noticeable scratches. The floor was also extremely dirty. It was a 6 minute walk to Silver Legacy.

We tried the buffet at Sands Regency and would not recommend it - we went on Steak Night and had a free buffet, but would not recommend it.

Exactly what I wanted a clean comfy room for the night.

My 17-year-old daughter and I were on our way back to Utah from California and just there for one night. We left fairly early the next day. The room was clean the beds are very comfortable and unusual for a casino, it was very quiet. As a light sleeper I really appreciated that aspect! One thing I wanted to mention, I thought it was kind of odd that the TVs were a little on the small side and not flat screen. Not a problem to me, but thought some people would want to know. Who knows perhaps they thought if the TVs were small you'd spend more time and money gambling. The reason for two stars for value was, of course no continental breakfast and unlike most places similar to this, they did not give us any type of food vouchers. The restaurant although a little expensive, was definitely good! Also, two star rating for staff does not apply to restaurant staff. They were very friendly and welcoming.
