Ok for price
It's okay for the price it's off the beaten track which is nice. Close to downtown Reno and or Sparks. Bed was really comfy.

DO NOT IGNORE NEGATIVE REVIEWS
I'm not very picky when it comes to hotels, so I thought even with the negative reviews this hotel wouldn't be too terrible. Boy, was I wrong. Our bath tub had multiple dark hairs in it (yes, before we even used it), there were what looked like bread crumbs all over the floor. I thought we were getting a room with 2 queen beds, but we ended up with two full sized beds. The mattresses were almost as hard as sleeping on the floor. The room was very small and cramped, and the hotel was pretty run down and smelly. They weren't at all prepared for the breakfast rush and had next to nothing left when we went down 2 hours before it closed. The only thing I was happy with was the microwave and fridge in the room. So, overall, it was pretty bad. I definitely will not stay there again.

Truly forgettable ……
Truly forgettable …… Close to used car lots, and assorted automobile related business. Hotel allows pets…strange unidentifiable stains in hallway and room. The room was crowded and in need of paint and woodwork; the shower had dark stains (mold?) on the ceiling . The phone and the clock radio didn’t work…..the towels and bedding were clean…

Fair and Balanced
don't bother
I read about the stains on the carpets, but I don't usually care if everything else is good. There were quite a bit of stains and the room smelled so bad, I had to walk a block to a gas station mart and buy a bottle of Fabreeze just to be able to stand the smell. Desk clerk was Ok but had a blase' attitude like he wanted to be somewhere else. ( I don't blame him!) The mattress was so cheap, the wife and I kept rolling to the middle. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. Windham should be embarassed to have their name associated with this hotel

Should not be listed as a Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham
Wow what a disappointment! If my flight was earlier I would of switched hotels. The owners need to stay here. Not what I would of expected. It was not clean, very old hotel, stairs outside, trash around, trash cans overflowing. Very old. Need s a total make over. The only positive thing was the staff was very kind, and friendly. Its not their fault the hotel is in the shape it is in. Should of asked for a refund!!
