Near really good food

Hash House a Go-Go is awesome. Across the street at the Nugget you can get the Awful Awful burger. Also awesome. For the price of a single room this is better than the Sands Regency and Circus Circus.

$29 for 1 nite in a 4* - MINT deal

Great room, cofy, nice staff. Clearly getting the cheap room as they want you to spend your $$s in their giant casino downstairs but if you're like us and don't gamble, staying here was a total bargain! We spent $2 on a slot machine, $16 on the decent all you can eat buffet. Was great.

OK Hotel

the room itself was fine, but everything costs extra, if you want the bottle of water they provide in the room, it costs $3.00. They provide a coffeemaker in the room, but if you want to use the coffee they provide, it costs $1.50. I was afraid if I wanted to use the towels or soap, it would cost me (not really, but thats what it felt like). I guess thats how they make their money in Reno.

Good value

Harrah's is a nice, clean hotel with clean rooms. There is nothing real special about the rooms, but they were sufficient. The price was very reasonable, however. The steakhouse is pricey, but is very, very good.

It's all about the bed...

Stayed this time in the east wing, and liked it much better. larger rooms and newer decor. Very firm beds but with a nice selection of pillows - low, med and high loft. Front desk lady a little snotty on the phone. Wished they had a flat screen TV (although we didn't watch tv) it's just in being up to date. The 19" was ok.
