From Gondolas to gourmands, a city of remarkable delights

With all-suite accommodations, an array of entertainment, and incredible dining and diversion, Venetian Las Vegas is a worthy destination all its own, even with the Strip just beyond the doors. A faithful homage to Europe's crown jewel that includes a quarter-mile Grand Canal complete with gondoliers, The Venetian is also far more than a theme resort. The list includes TAO Beach and Nightclub, Canyon Ranch SpaClub, Grand Canal Shoppes and Madame Tussauds. The Venetian also shares amenities and dining with the connected Palazzo resort.

Highlights
  • The Venetian Las Vegas will come alive with the fantasy, food, fun and romance of Italy during Carnevale.  This is a three-month celebration of Italy's summer festival from 27 May to 08 September 2013. Based on the highly successful premier in 2012, the festival will be expanded with new events and special new experiences exclusively for the guests.
  • Gondola rides both inside and out on the quarter-mile Grand Canal replica
  • The exclusive TAO Beach and Nightclub
  • Star chef dining options from the likes of Mario Batali, Thomas Keller, Wolfgang Puck and more
  • Gorgeous, private club-like poker room
Rooms

Redecorated, unique split-level Venetian Luxury suites start at 650 square feet with king size, pillow top beds and two 32" plasma screens, a full living area, mini-bar and motorized curtains over floor-to-ceiling windows. In true Venetian style, the luxury continues in large bathrooms featuring twin sinks, a separate tub and shower and Agraria bath products. Some Venetian suites include sofa sleepers. Several larger suites are available. Wi-Fi Internet access is included in the resort fee.

Features

Surrounded by replicas of the Doge's Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, the Campanile Tower, and St. Mark's Square, guests can't escape the romance of Venice at Venetian, nor do they want to. Where else can you get married on an exquisitely handcrafted wedding gondola? Along the Grand Canal, enjoy a serenade from a gondolier, catch the "streetmosphere" performers or shop the more than 80 international boutiques.

More entertainment at Venetian Las Vegas includes the Broadway smash musical Rock of Ages and Australia's critically acclaimed quartet, Human Nature. The Venetian's 134,000-square-foot Ranch Spa – one of the biggest on the Strip – moves beyond the norm with an impressive fitness center, rock climbing wall and cafe. Prepare for more grand scale amenities at Venetian's 5-acre, year-round pool deck featuring three pools, a hot tub, plenty of chaises, and cocktail and food service (cabanas for a fee). Gaming at the opulent casino does not disappoint with handheld gaming devices, a refined poker room and large race and sports book lounge. Guests can also catch shows of Rita Rudner.

The Venetian welcomes Priscilla Queen of the Desert – The Musical, which runs from 18 June to 18 August 2013. This international hit features over 500 dazzling award-winning costumes and a parade of dance-floor favorites.

Dining

The Venetian's solid list of dining options leads with Thomas Keller's Bouchon, Mario Batali's B&B Ristorante, Wolfgang Puck's Postrio, Tom Maloney's Aquaknox, Emeril Lagasse's Delmonico Steakhouse and Piero Selvaggio's Valentino, as well as many Asian options. For breakfast or weekend brunch, don't miss the Grand Luxe Cafe. Guests also find an above-average food court with eateries like Nathan's, Johnny Rockets and Canonita Express.

AMAZING HOTEL!!!

Just arrived from staying here for 1 week...Just one downside to the hotel: if you are planning on taking tours, be aware that Venetian does not allow tour companies to pick you up at the main entrance, thus you will need to do a looong walk all the the way down to the "basement" where they allow buses to pick you up or you will even have to walk to other hotels (Mirage or Palazzo) where tour buses are allowed to pick you up at main entrance; other than that, the hotel is amazing, it is super luxurious and centrally located in front of Mirage and Treasure Island Hotels and next to a Walgreens!...front desk staff, concierges and all hotel staff are very courteous and helpful to tourists. Rooms are enormous, have tubs and showers, flat screen TVs and a living room area. When you are checking in, make sure you ask if there is a room facing the Strip where all the action is! You will not be disappointed with The Venetian!!!

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

When you go out of the hotel entrance, make a right, and a 24 hr/7 day Walgreens is just a short walk away... use it to buy cheaper bottled water, snacks, and even breakfast! as they have fruits, and sandwiches they even warm up on an oven for you. It is super convenient and will save you lots of $$$

BEAUTIFUL HOTEL!

If you want luxury, this is the place to stay!~ Our room was GORGEOUS! The rooms are spacious, and the beds are the most comfortable we have EVER slept on, including our own at home!! The only downside I would say about this hotel is that its SO big that if you want to get anywhere, plan on leaving plenty early, takes forever to get out to the street!~ There is so much property infront of the hotel! Would stay at again if we were going just to relax by the pool and hang out in our room.

A romantic getaway.

We had a very special few days at the Venetian. Our first experience at the hotel and only wish we could have stayed longer as it took us a bit to get used to the hotel, the amenities within it and around the area. But, we were there to enjoy our time so we were pretty laid back and relaxed about the whole thing. I hope to return soon.

Week long convention

The bed was comfortable, however, there were issues all around. Our room had a bad view, as we had to look at a parking garage. The furniture was dated and older. The people in the rooms around us were extremely noisy and would wake us up at all hours of the day. There was no coffee maker in our room. I believe that even the cheapest hotels have coffee makers in the rooms. The morning we were packing to leave we found a bed bug on our bed. On our return to Vegas we will not be staying at the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino.

Nice room, but hotel was very dark

We got a good price on the room, but they immediately wanted us to upgrade to a "view" room. We overlooked the air conditioners, but who looks out the window? The room was very dark and even with all the lights on, it was difficult to see anything we put on the dresser (which was dark wood). We wanted to use the water in the mini bar, but it was already opened and half gone! We were told to tell the front desk. When we checked out, there was a $54 mini bar charge--that we got removed, of course, since we hadn't used a thing. The room had 3 televisions, all pretty small. One big one would have been nicer.

Dusty Rooms, Lackluster Service

Felt like a number. Room was dusty. Housekeeping was sloppy. (Bed was asymmetrically made, room corners had clumps of lint, trash cans were emptied and returned haphazardly, a quarter of the room lights were burned out,)
