From Gondolas to gourmands, a city of remarkable delights
With all-suite accommodations, an array of entertainment, and incredible dining and diversion, Venetian Las Vegas is a worthy destination all its own, even with the Strip just beyond the doors. A faithful homage to Europe's crown jewel that includes a quarter-mile Grand Canal complete with gondoliers, The Venetian is also far more than a theme resort. The list includes TAO Beach and Nightclub, Canyon Ranch SpaClub, Grand Canal Shoppes and Madame Tussauds. The Venetian also shares amenities and dining with the connected Palazzo resort.
Highlights
- Gondola rides both inside and out on the quarter-mile Grand Canal replica
- The exclusive TAO Beach and Nightclub
- Star chef dining options from the likes of Mario Batali, Thomas Keller, Wolfgang Puck and more
- Gorgeous, private club-like poker room
Rooms
Redecorated, unique split-level Venetian Luxury suites start at 650 square feet with king size, pillow top beds and two 32" plasma screens, a full living area, mini-bar and motorized curtains over floor-to-ceiling windows. In true Venetian style, the luxury continues in large bathrooms featuring twin sinks, a separate tub and shower and Agraria bath products. Some Venetian suites include sofa sleepers. Several larger suites are available. Wi-Fi Internet access is included in the resort fee.
Features
Surrounded by replicas of the Doge's Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, the Campanile Tower, and St. Mark's Square, guests can't escape the romance of Venice at Venetian, nor do they want to. Where else can you get married on an exquisitely handcrafted wedding gondola? Along the Grand Canal, enjoy a serenade from a gondolier, catch the "streetmosphere" performers or shop the more than 80 international boutiques.More entertainment at Venetian Las Vegas includes the Broadway smash musical Phantom, the provocative Blue Man Group and special engagements. The Venetian's 134,000-square-foot Ranch Spa – one of the biggest on the Strip – moves beyond the norm with an impressive fitness center, rock climbing wall and cafe. Prepare for more grand scale amenities at Venetian's 5-acre, year-round pool deck featuring three pools, a hot tub, plenty of chaises, and cocktail and food service (cabanas for a fee). Gaming at the opulent casino does not disappoint with handheld gaming devices, a refined poker room and large race and sports book lounge.
The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas will celebrate the magic and fantasy of Carnevale this summer, featuring three months of classic Italian festivities, including new experiences, entertainment, art, music and wine throughout both resorts from June 4 to Sept. 9. Features include the nightly electric light parade starting at 8 pm (winding its way throughout the resort, with electric gondoliers, courtesans, stilt walkers and jugglers creating a visual spectacle); the light show 4 times nightly (the iconic clock tower illuminates in a spectacular five-minute 3-D show); Carnevale Nights (a night of revelry, for ages 21 and up); and daytime children's and family activies, including decorating Venetian masks with feathers and sequins, searching for clues on a scavenger hunt, and being entertained by roaming balloon artists and face painters (daily from 10 am to 6 pm).
In addition, enjoy the Art Walk June 4-30 with art pieces displayed in the WOW space and in participating stores in Venetian and Palazzo Shoppes. Featured are glass blower Robert Shield June 4-10, 3D artist Melanie June 11-17, pottery wheel clay artist Thom Bumblauskas June 18-23, and Living Art and the Live Mona Lisa June 24-30.
Dining
The Venetian's solid list of dining options leads with Thomas Keller's Bouchon, Mario Batali's B&B Ristorante, Wolfgang Puck's Postrio, Tom Maloney's Aquaknox, Emeril Lagasse's Delmonico Steakhouse and Piero Selvaggio's Valentino, as well as many Asian options. For breakfast or weekend brunch, don't miss the Grand Luxe Cafe. Guests also find an above-average food court with eateries like Nathan's, Johnny Rockets and Canonita Express.

Girls college reunion weekend
Gorgeous rooms, fantastic gym, fabulous Canyon Ranch Spa, beautiful pools - what is not to love? The Grand Canal Shops are adorable - there's nothing like getting serenaded by a gondolier while you stroll along window shopping. They have a St. Mark's square which is an adorable replica with opera singers popping out of the windows in the palatial facades, jugglers and singers and venetian festival dressed performers on stilts and there were clouds painted on the ceiling. There are many nice restaurants to choose from. We enjoyed pasta and pizza at Joe Bastianich's fantastic Otto restaurant, while listening to a violin player and an opera singer right over the rail from us - a neat spot on St. Mark's. The rooms were spacious, the marble bar lights up, the beds were super comfortable, the bathrooms were pretty, the drapes are drawn by remote. We were wishing they had put a coffee maker in our rooms. The hair dryer is there - it's just hiding in a tiny drawer in the vanity. It's a bit dark in the rooms - bring a flashlight if you really want to see what your makeup looks like. If you go to the concierge desk in person, the concierges are very helpful. If you call the front desk or the concierge by phone you will wait quite a while. Five minutes on hold is not uncommon. Same for room service - a one hour wait! - Call ahead! Also remember to call 45 minutes ahead when you need the bellman to get your bag. It's worth waiting for the bellman and not giving up and dragging your bags yourself - because he'll march you through the casino crowds and straight to the front of the taxi line - provided you check out first. Do checkout by phone first - call an hour ahead - and you'll wait several minutes to talk to the front desk or the concierge -but that's still better than if you try to check out from the front desk in person - don't wait in that check out line. There is also a long line for luggage storage on the weekend. 2200 guests were expected to arrive the Sunday we were leaving. That's almost 1/3 of all their rooms coming in at once. As you'd suspect, the place is hopping with bachelor and bachelorette parties - expect to hear revelers in the hallways at 2am - or someone trying to pick you up at the pool...but just laugh!...It's so beautiful it's worth it...

20th Anniversary
My husband and I stayed at the Venetian for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. From start to finish we loved our stay. The entire hotel had a wonderful aroma and our room was fantastic! We stayed in the luxury suite facing the strip. The view was fantastic. The entire room felt elegant. I wish I could have taken the bathroom home with me! The only negatives would be that the hotel's layout is somewhat confusing and more maps could be placed throughout the hotel indicating "you are here" etc., and the fridges were packed full with beverages you literally could not even pick up and put back down without being charged (nope we're not kidding). It would have been nice to be able to use the fridge for food or our own drinks, etc. All in all we would definately recommend this hotel and we will certainly plan a trip back!

Perfectly Luxurious
Spent the last day at the Venetian after spending the first 6 days at a timeshare, we were exhausted from walking and touring. What a great place to just finally relax in the luxury of the Venetian! We decided to just stay in our room after walking around the beautiful hotel grounds. We thoroughly enjoyed our sunken living room suite, marble bathroom and 3 flat screen televisions. Next time, we'll spend all 7 days at the Venetian! Great location, great amenities!

Incredible experience
The location itself is amazing, even considering that I am Italian and I know the real Venice very well. Everything is clearly built to let people have fun: the casino is outstanding and the inner shopping plaza (that goes from the Venetian to the Palazzo) features some of the coolest stores ever. Overall, my experience at the Venetian couldn't really be any better than this.
