vdaara Resort
We have traveled extensively all over the world, and have never had such first class service--from doorman to bellman--restaurant, and housekeeping. We had friends that wanted to join us, but were told there were no rooms availible--but we noticed many empty rooms. This was a condo with kitchen, den,and elegant bedroom. An outstanding value. T.H.

Weekend stay at Vdara
I had a great stay at the Vdara this weekend. Rooms were top notch with little to nothing I can imagine you would complain about. Every member of the staff from housekeeping to room service to spa employees was completely courteous and professional. It was a very pampering treatment where you feel respected and your stay there is welcomed. This is breath of fresh air compared to other hotels that want to rush you in and out as quick as they can. Proximity to the Aria/City Center and the strip is good, but you will want to familiarize yourself with where to pick up the City Center tram if you don't have a vehicle. Some may get turned around looking for the main entrance of Vdara near Aria's, but asking any of the road attendants will get you there without a problem. If you don't want to valet your vehicle at the main entrance of Vdara, you can park in the Aria self parking then take the Tram from the Monte Carlo station to the Vdara (Bellagio station) since it's right next to the parking garage. Definitely not a big hassle. Overall a great trip and we can't wait to go back and try a two story penthouse!

Boyfriend's Birthday Surprise Trip
I was excited to book a room at the Vdara for my boyfriend's surprise birthday trip. We were welcomed by a delightful staff. The valet parker was very accommodating and made small talk and welcomed us to the new City Center. The doors to the hotel opened and we were both amazed by the smell. It was phenomenal. The coconut smell took us my surprise because in Vegas you become so accustomed to the smell of smoke in the hotel lobbies. As we approached our door, we loved the fact that our room had a doorbell. Something we've never seen in a hotel before. Our room was on the 37th floor with fantastic views of the City Center and the mountains. The room itself was breathtaking. It was 582 square feet of luxury. There was a quaint kitchen right when you walked in. We had a stainless steel sink, microwave (which could also apparently be used as a oven), cute fridge, electric cook-top range, and a fully stocked mini-bar. Our room was equipped with a King sized bed with the most comfortable pillows ever. We also had a sleeper sofa. We loved the huge flat screen television which also had AV ports. I fell in love with the bathroom. Even though it wasn't used during our trip, the bathtub was a huge soaking tub. There was a separate glass shower which was huge and refreshing. I loved the free products they left in the bathroom also. It is also important to note that there is a 15 dollar a day "resort" fee that you must pay. This is supposed to cover the newspaper and water bottles which are provided to you daily and also access to the fitness center. This was a little steep for me considering I paid about 85 dollars (including taxes) in resort fees. Overall, we loved our stay. It was so relaxing and the fact that it does not have a casino really made you feel like you were in a different atmosphere but still close to the "action". We also loved that we were directly connected to the Bellagio. The proximity to Aria and the strip was an added bonus. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend anyone stay here. You'll love it and be spoiled rotten.

Vdara -- City Center
Brand new hotel, no casino so no noise and smoke to walk through to get to your room. Peace and quiet in the middle of the Las Vegas strip. Adjacent to Aria's casino and Bellagio which offers shows, casino and many dining options. Vdara is great if you want to go to Vegas and stay on the strip but not sure if you want to be caught up in the crowds and casino atmosphere. If you do desire that, just walk next door.
