With a LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, along with expansive, eco-friendly suites, there's an emphasis on holistic relaxation rather than gaming tables. Let the resident bartenders serve you up a cocktail at Bar Vdara while you indulge your inner child on the outdoor swings or visit the ESPA professionals for a personalized facial. Guests can simply choose to spend their days lounging at a rooftop cabana near plunge pools and the magnificent Vegas horizon, or putting across the greens at the exclusive Shadow Creek Golf Course.  Picking up a few gourmet wines and cheeses at Market Cafe Vdara before leaving ensures luggage full of enviable souvenirs.

Time-saving tip: In Hotel

A short walk over a sky bridge brings you directly into the Bellagio. Also, as soon as you cross te sky bridge, there is a free tram that will transport you all the way down to the Monte Carlo. Great time saver, and gives you a break from all the walking.

Great atmosphere, super clean, quiet!

The hotel was amazing the room was incredible it smelled good and wasn't loud at all. It was nice to be able to come back to a nice quiet hotel after going out. Only complaint was it was kind of hard to get back to. We always had to walk through the Bellagio to get back. If you don't mind a little walking it was great. Amazing rooms!

Lovely Spot

It was delightful to stay in a Las Vegas smoke free hotel that smelled fresh and clean. The crisp efficiency of the staff was appreciated as well as other amenities in this first rate hotel. A negative is the location of this property because it is tucked around the corner of the Bellagio and there is not a direct route to the strip. That meant extra walking. Another issue was when we checked out and were told we needed to pay an extra $25 resort fee per day. The swimming pool was not in use and basically we felt this fee was excessive.

Mostly good, some not so much

Started poorly, arrived far before check in and was told that they were rigidly adhering to the 3:00 pm policy. Have done the same at several Vegas hotels and gotten rooms early without any difficulty, surprised by their inability to accomodate. When the room was available it was very nice. Large, well equipped and comfortable. Everything was new and well laid out. The view wasn't particularly spectacular but was active at night and sunny by day. As others have mentioned there aren't many amenities here. There is only one bar, one restaurant and one 'store' which has coffee, snacks and condo like supplies. There is also a spa. This is not at all like the other Vegas mega resorts with casinos and restaurants around every corner. It is a fairly short walk to Aria where many more facilities are available. Didn't see the pool. There is a direct walkway to Bellagio. You have to walk around the circular entry to get to Aria where there is a walkway directly to Monte Carlo. If you were attending an event at Bellagio this would be a very convenient and significantly less expensive alternative. All in all I would definitely stay here again.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

Go through Aria casino to the walkway to Monte Carlo where there is an uncrowded Starbucks. Same walkway has a restaurant called The Pub with many craft beers and relatively reasonably priced food - emphasis on burgers.

weekend getaway

The suite at the Vdara was amazing. Lots of room, comfortable bed and living area. Very large bathroom and full size kitchen. Excellent service, from check in to daily maid service. Hotel is close to many things to see on the Vegas strip. We really enjoyed our stay there.

First time at the Vdara

This was our first visit and stay at the Vdara, we were upgraded to a suite upon arrival which was nice. The blackout shade across from the bed was missing, the smoke alarm battery began chirping at 7am after our first night, the bathroom scale was missing it's battery, the tv remote had issues. Because of these issues they upgraded again to a corner suite on the 51st floor over looking the Belagio Fountains :). Personal dislikes, Room decor is very drab, and there weren't any power outlets on either side of the bed to charge our cell phones. While there was alot of square footage to the room and a great view, it seems like some of the smaller details were missing in a luxury hotel. We have stayed at the Aria previously and LOVED it, we will be back there next time. Vdara's not bad just not as comfy and well thought out of a design as the Aria.

Great Place 3 star cost for a 5 star stay

This was my first time staying here and let me say it was a great experience. I took my wife here for a weekend get away and she loved it. Let me clarify a few things. Yes its a bit off the strip like everyone says but there is a tram that you can assess that takes you in either direction (east/west) to surrounding hotels on the strip walk out the door and your right there. The walk is literally a 5min stroll to the main strip through the city center mall so you get to see the new city center if you never experienced it before so dont be discourage about this not being on the strip. Technically most hotels are off the strip if you think about it. the difference with Vdara is you dont have to walk a mile through the smoke in a casino to get to your room. We also went to the spa while here and it was very nice and relaxing. The cost not bad either. My buddy stayed at another hotel and got the same service with his wife but paid almost $100 more and the time slots were booked most days. Vdara accommodated me to the time i wanted and needed. The staff at the hotel and the spa were great i had no problems with slow service or anyone being rude as i read in some reviews. This is a great place i will defiantly be staying here again in the near future. One down fall and its not major but if your going to enjoy the pool or have kids that will want to swim the pool area is a bit small when compared to other hotels but if your looking to relax at the pool have some drinks prior to your night on the town this is just the right place. Good Luck with your stay but like i stated this is a 5 star hotel at a 3 star price.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Your are in the center of the strip the location is the best can walk in either direction and find bars, street talent of all kind, clubs and hotels for gambling. everything is a short 3 to 5 min walk depends on what you are looking for.
