Great stay!

Very nice, newer hotel. LOVED that it is the only one on the Strip with no casino (so no cloud of smoke as you walk to your room) which is great for families. It is connected through an indoor corridor to Aria so you can still go gambling easily if you want to. About a 10 mins walk to the Strip (not bad), 20 mins to MGM, 20 mins to Mirage. Complimentary valet parking is +++, but $50 resort fee is a drag. We got a great deal on a suite and it was gorgeous, windows everywhere with breathtaking views :) Serious lack of closet space though, considering the suite has a full kitchen, dining area and washer/dryer. Also needed a bit of maintenance - broken light fixture and blind. Blackout blinds are nice but don't fully cover so if you are light sensitive, you might not sleep in late. The spa was above and beyond (see my review in Spa Vdara)! Overall amazing stay, would definitely be back :)

Solo get away

Rooms looked good,a lil small but compfy.I had a perfect view of the Belligio fountains, the strip and the mountains! There were no kitchen appliances, plates, forks etc.I found strands of hair in the tub and sheets, missing light bulb, clogged sink, shades didn't roll up evenly, stinky couch,no trash bags, little things, but for this price? Ask for a north facing room 45fls and up.Perfect Views!! Staff was great. p.s location is behind Aria. Sucked. Too pricey for location!

Excellent 5+ hotel

-modern condo style - reminds Vancouver BC condos built in 2011-2012 by china investors. -service 5+ -clean 5+ -small kitchen equipped - my healthy diet does not need to be changed as well as reasonable cost to maintain. hotel's food is extremely overpriced. can't comment on quality as i did not try it. -valet parking -extremely well executed and very quick -no casino in the hotel is a big plus as it is no smell from cigarettes in the lobby or elevator -security - the same as belagio - you need to show the card briefly to 24x7 security person near elevators. - pool - small but very nice, and you can use Aria's pool if vdara's one is overcrouded. i did once. pool is very well maintained, no food allowed -very good feature. - gym - extremely good one - very rear to see in hotel's gym the pull ups stand that i get used at my home . friendly trainer and very private if you need it - designed extremely well and i have not heard any noise from the strip or inside the corridor or neibouring rooms - hotel was packed on oct.25th. definitely indicator of good noise isolation which is very rear in currently built hotels -spa is well designed and variety of services are on the list. - overall service on each and every occasion to contact personal was at 5+: friendly and proactive to serve better. - the hotel is 4 years old and maintained in extremely well condition. -location - what can be better located than 4 minutes walk to belagio?!!! - perfect. the only small point was that mattress or top for the mattress was soft. i preffer Marriot's quality of mattresses. but it was comfortable and i did not make any request to change it.

Luxurious Resort, Great Location!

On our vacation we wanted to stay at a high end resort, but not break the bank. Vdara was just the place to stay - not only is it beautiful, but it is located just off the strip! Close to walkways, trams, etc, Vdara allows for an isolated location without having to be too far from the action. Also, there is no casino, so the overall vibe at Vdara is more laid back and not as hectic. The room was amazing - great views and very clean. The staff were also extremely helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend Vdara if you're looking to stay at a luxurious resort while in Vegas.

great for couples

Hotel is perfect we had a room on the 45th floor looking on to the fountains at the Belagio, location was spot on across from the Aria and short walk to the belagio. Hotel is quiet and offers escape from the casinos, the pool has every thing you need but a bit small and tight for space. Will stay here again and highly recommend this hotel 5 star all the way.

At the heart of the strip!

The Vdara is a very clean, modern hotel with excellent, helpful staff who do their best to make your stay a comfortable & memorable one. The delux suite that we stayed in was on the 30th floor & although it didn't face the strip, the views from the panoramic windows were beautiful, especially at night. The bed was a joy to get into at night & very difficult to get out of each morning as it was so comfy. We were within walking distance of The Miracle Mile shops & lots of other lovely hotels includung the adjoining Bellagio Hotel, The Paris & The Aria Resort & Casino & the fabulous Cosmopolitan with its draping chandiliers! Also as the Vdara is a non-gaming, non-smoking hotel, it was a nice retreat to come back to after the madness on the strip!

If visiting The Grand Canyon or going to any shows, I would purchase your tickets before you go. Not really a place for kids, more of an adult holiday.

Cdn thanksgiving in vegas

Had a great time staying at the vdara. The rooms were spacious and clean and the hotel staff were very accommodating. Though not technically right on the strip, there is an easy walkway to the belagio. A quick walk outside gets you to cosmopolitan and aria. Ultimately it was actually more central most hotels on either end of the strip. My wife and I really enjoy it and we would definitely stay at vdara again.

Carnival and Tao were our favorite nightclubs offering different experiences. Tao was amazing food and high end prototypical vegas nightclub while carnival was a small little outdoor club, with a great dj and awesome bartenders, cocktail style.
