Ultra modern
The Vdara is a very welcoming hotel, staff friendly but very perplexing when it came to our suite. As there were three of us one had to sleep on a bed sofa, we got turn down service one night the rest of the stay the bed sofa was forgotten about. The suite had a full kitchen with nothing in it! We had to ask for cups & were only given two. We had no plates or silverware but oddly had a dishwasher. Somewhat of a let down, why have a kitchen with nothing in it? The Vdara is also very hard to find, it's tucked behind the Aria & the signs for it are very few & far between.

Amazing Place Hidden on the Strip
We had a great experience at this hotel on Memorial Day weekend. It has an intimate, secluded feel while still being close enough to the action of the Strip. The modern decor is cool, every one of the staff encountered was friendly and helpful. We had a great view of the Bellagio fountains and Strip. The pool area, while somewhat crowded, still had an intimate feel about it. People complain that it's hard to find, but geez, once you find it...you don't have to look for it again. The only downsides are the outrageous "resort fees" of $28/day, no in-room coffee maker or alarm clock, but otherwise I'd stay here again.

Vdara Experience
The hotel itself is very modern and sophisticated. The security is a plus with staff monitoring the people entering the elevator areas. The best hotel as far as cleanliness. It always smells nice and not smoky like most other hotels. Our room was the standard suite. It was clean, large (enough for 4 guys), full amenities (small kitchen area, two televisions, etc.), comfortable, and luxurious. The location was relatively close to the strip, it was as close as you can get without actually being right on the strip. The only couple of negatives were the higher price (plus hotel fees, $25/day), slightly far from strip (not that bad), and no casino (it's nicer this way with better air quality and the Aria casino is right next door). Overall, this is a very modern and high class hotel for the price and location. We would definitely book here again.

Nice Vegas Stay
The biggest perk about this hotel is that it is close to the other, more expensive, hotels. The amenities and etc. weren't amazing, and I got the feeling by them being a 'green' hotel, meant that I got skimped on some things. The fitness center was nice, but it's not 24hrs so check the hours of operation before you get amped up to work out. The staff was very nice and accommodating when they could be, and even though it was a busy holiday weekend, everyone seemed to be willing to help with anything I needed.

Ruined my wife's birthday
Awful. I called the hotel following my online reservation to confirm everything. They said it was fine and that I was booked for a panoramic suite, as requested. When I arrived at the hotel, while my wife was having 3 hours of services at their spa, the young lady checking me in confirmed I had a panoramic suite. When I was sent to the room to prepare for my wife's surprise birthday celebration, it was not a panoramic suite. I called the front desk and they stated I had been placed in an executive room (a lesser suite) because no panoramic suites were available. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, he informed me that the online booking agency put the reservation through incorrectly. After much hassle, including being told I would have to wait 4 hours for the suite to be cleaned, I was moved to a panoramic suite 11 floors down with a view of a brick wall and tram. The supervisors response was that the "view" wasn't guaranteed. I asked if customer service was? Also, with my cheap tickets booking I was supposed to receive 2 complimentary breakfast buffets. They said they couldn't locate the buffets but would give me $50 food credit. When I took my wife to the breakfast buffet, it was $68 for the two of us and the difference was billed to my card. With regard to cleanliness, the bathtub still had stale water inside of it from the previous guest. I didn't even bother complaining. The staff was unpleasant and unfriendly. Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced and every attempt made to blame cheap tickets. Not as advertised.

Brillant first time to Las Vegas experience
On arrival at check in we were delighted that it was a swift and quick process, we were looked after straight away. We stayed at a Delux double suite on the 39th Floor and had a great view of the fountains in the Bellagio. There was only a cafe type shop in which to eat breakfast, however, the hotel is connected to the Aria where we had buffet breakfast two mornings. If you head down towards the MGM Grand on the strip (about a five minute walk) there is a place called Denny;s and the food is great. The hotel has a nice bar, small but given the hotel does not have a casino it was never over crowed. Our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels. You were able to view on your TV set in room what charges you were adding to your credit card, and you were also able to check out from the TV. Phone calls home like all hotels is expensive but we didn't find it easy to locate a pay phone on the strip. This is a new hotel and it was lovely for non smokers and people who dont like crowds as all the other hotels are smoking and gaming.

Very nuce hotel, staff was really nice and cleaning crew kept our room fresh everyday. Was a little dissapointed that it does not have its own casino and there are no restaurants at the hotel either besides the cafe. We have to travel to nearby hotels to eat and gamble. Nice hotel if you plaln to relax and avoid the large crowds

Best hotel experience in 24 years!
We have traveled extensively over the years for business and for pleasure. We chose this hotel and spa because of other reviews and since it does not have a casino and is non-smoking. The friendliness of the staff, incredible suite, outstanding food in the cafe, security, and pool (we also rented a cabana one day) were perfect. Thank you for an awesome 3 day getaway with my wife and other family members who also stayed at the property.
