Nice Hotel
Although I thought the tax on each individual resort fee and the other hidden "operational" fees from the room service was a bit ridiculous. I feel the individual resort/tax fees should have been included in the package.Besides that the hotel and staff was nice. I'd stay there again.

VDARA Las Vegas
Relatively new hotel. No gaming/shows/restaurants (except snack bar) in the hotel, but short walk to the Aria which has all of those. Convenient to the rest of the Vegas experience. We arrived on Wednesday, left on Saturday (best package rate). Noticeable increase in occupancy as the weekend approached (big pro fight weekend) and concierge was swamped - long lines to set up tickets for shows. Great staff!

Awesome Place to stay in
Staff were all accommodating and helpful with all my needs. Even gave us an extra $50 dining credit on top of the $75 dining credit because of some confusion about complimentary breakfast promised by their front desk attendant. Love that the hotel is smoked free and have no casino's in it.

Love getaway
Love every bit of this hotel. The room was clean and beautiful view was breathtaking. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. It was like being at home. Location was great. Not far from anything. Downfall was no self parking. Otherwise I highly recommend this hotel. Definitely will plan to stay there again if I go back to Vegas.

Great Stay
This was a great stay. If you're a non smoker, this is the place for you. There's no smoking anywhere in the hotel. There's also no casino in the hotel, but were were closer to the casino in the Aria and Bellagio than the people staying in those hotels. So, it is close to the action. The hotel is located behind the Bellagio with a short walkway to the hotel. Very convenient access to the Strip. The pool area was very nice also. If you're a late sleeper, get a room away from the pool, as about 8:00 you hear music from the pool area. Great poolside service also. The room has a kitchenette. But, it's useless. There's no utinsels or silverware. You can get it, but you have to request its. We had our own coffee mugs and "international coffee" we brought. Worked great with the microwave. Be careful if you book a package and it includes a "free" show. You must reserve the show 72 hours after you book #although I couldn't find where on the website#. I didn't because I couldn't find what "free shows" were available. We were denied a "free show". I talked to the concierge Tiffany. She wasn't as useful as a bump on a log. As soon as she found out I wanted the "free" show tickets, she backed off and told me to make my own phone calls to management. Not the work of a true professional. The rest of the staff was very helpful. Went to the buffet at the Bellagio and the Paris. Both were great. If you can wait, go at about 3:00 and you can get in for the "lunch" price #about $25# but at 3:30 they start putting out the dinner food, although the lunch stuff was excellent too. We booked a bus trip to the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. Excellent choice. If was a day trip. we were picked up at 6:30 am and got back about 6:30 pm. Definately worth the $100 per person as there was a continental breakfast and an excellent lunch provided. Some people took the helicopter ride at the canyon and loved it. Go to the front desk of any of the hotels and get the entertainment book or things to do book #different places called them different things#. It had coupons for 1/2 off different things to do and restaurants. It also gave the info about each hotel and their restaurants and attractions. Loved the Bellagio fountains #they danced to the music played# and the pirate show at the Treasure Island. All in all.... great trip except for Tiffany.

Great stay
Had a very nice time at the Vdara. The room was very modern and comfortable. I liked how close to the strip it was without being right on the strip. Food was very delicious and the aria's casino witch was very close was a lot of fun. We will be staying here again for sure.

Great place to take a break
The hotel is on the strip but also off the strip, tucked away behind the Cosmopolitan, connected to the Bellegio via a walk way and across the traffice circle from Aria it is nicely located to get away from the hustle of the strip. The hotel over all is beautiful and refreshing becuase of the non smoking policy. The staff was friendly. The room was nice but had a few basic maintance issues. The black out shade button wouldn't work right way you had to keep pressing buttons to get it it to work. The air made a squeeky sound each time the air came on in the room. The kitchennette was nice but you have to request the kitchen stuff nothing is there when you arrive. The refrigerator didn't work very well, it seemed that they have keep it off when the room was not occupied the problem with that is that it took 2 days for it to get down to temp.

All I can say is WOW!
This hotel was the highlight of our trip! Hotel service was great, the pool was terrific, the valet was fast, the amenities in the room were terrific, the staff were friendly and location was perfect but the best thing was the VIEW in our room! It was phenomenal! There was no casino inside this hotel which ended up being very nice. We walked to eat, gamble, shop and sight see. By far the best place we have ever stayed!

Shopping tip:
Short walk from hotel
Walking across from the Vdara into Planet Hollywood leads you into a long long line of shops that follow all the way down into Paris and the Venetian! We did a lot of our shopping there with high end and affordable shops and souvenirs too.
