Great getaway for two who love Las Vegas
The Tuscany is two blocks away from the strip and that makes all the difference if you need a little R&R during your stay. The room was BIG. The grounds were well maintained. The staff was generally friendly. If you don't like to walk, rent a car and see it all.

Money-saving tip:
Not Applicable
Save time and money by checking all the roots and prices for the Monorail, The Duece, Express, Mini-buses between resorts and cabs ahead of time. If you're going to be in Vegas for more than a couple of days, plan to do sections of the strip and downtown on seperate days.

Price includes nothing, but nice place.
Needed a quick, cheap place to stay ; arriving late and leaving early for the aiport. They said they had transportation to the airport - they didn't, so add $20. They said they had Internet (they DID have it, just wasn't free) so add $14. Plus the $14 resort fee they charge and the $30 a night "cheap" room I needed for less than 8 hours ends up being around $80. For $80, mid-week, off-season I could have stayed on the strip in a very nice hotel. All of that being said, it was clean, people were very nice and the room was huge. Good for a family. Would stay there again if the circumstances were different and I could enjoy the resort a little; just not the cheap, airport-easy place I hoped for.

Not so good. They overbooked. We had booked 3 months in advanced for 2 beds and we ended up with only with a king bed and also the room was still dirty when we checked in so it took half and hour to get our room cleaned.

Tuscany Review
Check in was the biggest disappointment. This was on a Sunday afternoon. There were 3 check-in staff working the desk, but to me the process was slow and the check in line was long. At one time 2 of them disappeared behind a door with no explanation. When I did get to the desk the clerk was very polite and helpful, but it appeared the hotel is operating with an outdated computer system and it even looked tired. As a first impression it wasn't great. The room was clean and comfortable. The sales staff, with whom we met for a future wedding anniversery late this year was very helpful and we will probably use the hotel for that purpose. The only real gripe is the hotel Resort Fees, which are if you don't use them (which we didn't) is a ripoff and excessive..

Just what I needed
I wanted a double bed room with some room to walk around in and was happy to get that. I like the fact that you gets to park close to the room that you are at.and don't have to wait in high elevator to get to your room. Being close to the swimming pool and a nice little frig.to store food is a nice extra. If you need some extra space in your room and don't want to walk far to get to your room,Tuscany is the right place.

Hard to come up with any complaints!
Excellent location - Quiet area with 20 minute walk to the Strip. The pool is quite nice and the rooms are clean and very large! Food venues are good though not oustanding. Entertainment is good - I reccomend the comedy show Thurs - Sat.

Short walk from hotel
If you prefer a buffet, try the one at Terribles Casino down Flamingo about a block (that's a Las Vegas block, a good 10 minute walk or so.)

Spring break
Couldn't really fault the Tuscany. Very well located just off the strip, short walk up to what i would class as the main hub. Room size, comfort and cleanliness all very good. Nice pool and setting of the hotel room blocks. Would definitely stay at the Tuscany again if wanting to be close to, but not on the strip.
