Excellent Hotel Stay
Went to the Strip for the first time with my wife - hotel was excellent, clean furnishings & plenty of amenities. Hotel location was just a short hop away from the Strip, and had a great view of both the area and the Strip. Ordered room service - excellent food, great cooking, clean presentation and very courteous staff, including the cleaning crew! Good service in the regard that once we discovered our toilet to be no longer functional, the hotel management switched us to another room. However, not-so-good that we also discovered that our original room should never been rented out without fixing the toilet first, which was a known issue prior to our arrival.

Upgrade to the strip view; fantastic.
Beautiful building on the north end of the strip. Be sure you upgrade to the strip view looking south. Staff was very polite and helpful. Rooms have good soundproofing. Great pool and massage spa. Negatives were whirlpool tub in room didn't work and sofa had stains.

OUTSTANDING!
The icing on the cake was not having a 2 mile walk through a smokey casino to get to your room - from the front door it was only about 50 feet to the elevator and your room. I cannot express how thrilled we were that the entire hotel - even poolside - was non-smoking. The pool and lobby were never crowded and the staff were always eager and happy to help. Valet service was excellent, as was housekeeping....but they did miss us one time, and were more than willing to fix the problem. We even got a free room upgrade and loved the late check out! Best holiday ever, wanted to stay longer.

If you want to see the big shows, definitely stop in at the red booths on the strip where they sell discounted show tickets. If you hop in a taxi, they always have booklets with coupons for deals on something.

No Casino- Yea!
Beautiful, spacious, spotless room. Clean, relaxing pool. Occasionally they come around with complimentary ice water and melon. Nice gym for a hotel. Great value for the price. No smoking or flashing casino lights!! Woohoo!! Friendly and speedy (except one time) valet. Only drawbacks for me: Only cell service in the room was in the corner of the window with my face pressed against the glass! Also bed too squishy with pillow top. I know, everybody loves the pillow top...but me!

A couple's dream
This place was beyond great! The only minus was that the cell phone reception was horrible! I never wanted to leave the bed because it was so plush! The jacuzzi at the pool and the spa tub in the room made us never want to leave the hotel. The fact that it doesnt have a huge casino to walk to through to get to your room is awesome too after coming back from a long day at the strip. Go. Relax. Enjoy and have fun!

Awesome view of the strip
This was our first trip to Vegas and we enjoyed staying on the 47th floor with an awesome view of the strip. The room was very clean and the service was great. we loved just relaxing by the pool during the day and sightseeing at night. We slept great in the beds but at night the train running alongside of the hotel woke us up a few times. However, we were so tired by the end of the day that we quickly went back to sleep. We took the shuttle a few times to Ceasar's ( which is about the middle of the strip) to save on the walk. The walk to the strip wasnt bad at all though. The Blue Man Group was entertaining with all the lighting and sound and Bodies at The Luxor was very educational and interesting if you're in the mood for learning. We ate at Cheesecake Factory which was delicious in Ceasar's Shops at the Forum....very affordable and alot to choose from.

Excellent facility, excellent staff, service and food, great location plus you don't have to put up with the noise and smoke that goes with the casinos. Close to awesome shopping with a free shuttle available when you feel like a casino. We will be back, The Donald knows how to build and run a hotel.

Good Overall
Pros: Great location just a block off the strip. The hotel provided shuttles to the Wynn and Caesar's so getting to the casinos was no problem. At the same time, there was no casino in the hotel itself, which I found to be nice. Rooms were huge and very comfortable. Amenities were a bit better then most hotels I've stayed in. Cons: The jacuzzi tub had a bunch of hair in it when we first got there. Also, the hotel seems to have no sound-proofing whatsoever. We were on the 50th floor but when a train went by we heard it like we were on street level. We also had problems with their spa. We tried to make an appointment six weeks before arriving and never called back. We complained upon checking in and when we went to check out they tried to charge us for not showing up for appointments. After arguing for about 15 minutes they agreed to take the charges off.

If you plan on going up the strip towards the Mandalay Bay, take the hotel shuttle to Caesar's Palace and grab a cab there. You'll save a little on taxi fare since you won't have to go as far.
