With changes in every room, suite and the casino, plus countless new restaurants and bars, guests at the Tropicana Las Vegas won't ever want to leave. For endless leisure opportunities on site, the hotel features a casino, numerous entertainment shows, and Glow, a Mandara Spa and fitness center.

  • First-class entertainment includes Laugh Factory Las Vegas, Raiding the Rock Vault, The New Illusions show, and Tropicana Lounge
  • Award-winning Las Vegas tropical pool that has expansive deck with lush landscaping, waterfalls and private lounge spots and featuring Coconut Grove Bar
Rooms

Tropicana Las Vegas - a DoubleTree by Hilton has completed an impressive update of their rooms while reviving the property's original Havana spirit, with warm orange and beige tones trimmed with white. Features

From stand-up comics and revolving headlining performers to live DJs and bands in the 4,000-square-foot Tropicana Lounge, guests at Tropicana Las Vegas will want to do it all. Head to the redesigned casino and play, race and sports book, or any number of slots and game tables. Watch death-defying stunts and magic show at The New Illusions starring Jan Rouven or jam to an all-star lineup of members from legendary rock bands at Raiding the Rock Vault.

For utter relaxation, patrons can have pampering massages and treatments at the Glow, a Mandara Spa. The hotel also provides a 100,000-square-foot conference center and a fitness center with views of the pool and gardens. Weddings at the Tropicana Las Vegas - a DoubleTree by Hilton are performed in an island chapel and outdoor gazebo. Free self- and valet parking are also available.

Clean and comfortable stay

I love staying at the Tropicana when I am in town for business. My company hold's their annual convention at the MGM so we are just across the bridge/walkway. They have remodeled and it is a nice tropical theme, the air smells of coconut, everything is very light. I wish there were more food options that were convenient besides the cafe.

Awesome trip

The hotel is very clean with white wall paintings everywhere including the room interior which felt so relaxing. It is located closed to Excalibur and NYNY, so if you plan to roam most often near Belagio and Ceasars it might be a bit of walk, but i would say I very much liked the location, as it was very close to restaurants in NYNY and nearby mall and when it comes to visiting the attractions in Bellagio and Ceasars, we did the bit of walk. Dont miss to dine at Bacio, loved their food. The best part is the staff, who greeted nice and the long queue to check-in at the lobby is missing, that is a great plus. I had to wait around 40 minutes in Bellagio once. The only negative is, the day of our check-out the hot water lost the heat and it was pouring cold. We mentioned it to the front desk and we were told they would send someone, but it took long and we decided to leave. Except the last it is a wonderful hotel to stay and a great value for money.

2 weeks in Vegas

The room was nice, with a handy desk. The free WIFI didn't work good and some days the shower was barely warm, but because we complained about that they only charged us resort fee for half the days we were there.

Time-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

If you have a rental, it's a short drive to the Miracle Miles Shop free valet parking. From there, you're in the middle of the Strip.

Hotel staff

We stayed at the tropicana for 2 weeks over the holiday. The staff was very poor in our opinion. Daily we would have to call to get our room made up because we would be out of the room all day and come back around 4pm and it still would not be complete. On a positive note the rooms are very nice and the beds are amazing but rarely did we get our rooms cleaned in a timely manner. On New Years day and I know it is supper busy but we always use valet because our parents are elderly and do not get around very well so it makes it easier because they do not have to walk as far. We always tip in and out on the valet because it is a great service. Every hotel I have ever been to in Vegas will continue to park your car even if valet is full as long as you are staying there. We told the valet about our parents but he really did not care he said sorry go park in the back. We were very disappointed. I know this sounds like a terrible reason to be disappointted. As always we loved our vacation but this has turned us away from staying at the Tropicana again in the future.

The new Tropicana

I was a bit dissatisfied with the hotel however the room was wonderful and Large in size. The room was not clean very well. Missing face towels, no water refill, drinking glass were never change. Cannot control the room temperature the a/c was whole time. This is winter season. Casino is nice small. Food was good. The staff friendly. The waitresses seen to ignore you or purposely forget drink order after I complain became very helpful. Some staff at table games ask you for more tips even though you give them a $3 tip they ask for $5 so I stopped playing after that

Fun, friendly, and affordable. Tropicana also had a last-minute room available for my family that decided to come on the trip last minute. They were there when I needed them the most.
