Very big
We were checked in very fast, had about a 2 mile walk to the room, the room was a good size and clean but we were woken very early as their was no curtains just shutters and it let in the morning sunshine. there were very little breakfast places, they had a Starbucks and a pricey café. the pool area was nothing special we were cramped into one area as they had closed off another which made the place look cramped. the drinks were VERY expensive.

Great place to stay!
Staff switched me to a 2 queen bedroom on my second day and extended my check-out time free of charge since they were not busy that day. Only thing I dislike is the resort fee.

Great for a return Vegas trip!
This is a great value especially with the new remodeling. Stayed here two years ago and was a little disappointed. However, the changes that they have made are wonderful. Pool is clean and gives a tropical feel with a great soundtrack. Actual rooms are pretty average which was fine because it was a place to sleep and get cleaned up.

Not as good as it sounds
We booked a weekend at the Tropicana for a Vegas girls trip. The room was clean with 2 very comfortable beds but smelled like smoke even though was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The pool was nice, but not a great social scene. We were promised "free mimosas all day Sunday" by one of the marketing guys at the hotel, but when we arrived at Bagatelle Beach we were told they had "decided not to do that anymore" We were not happy but ordered brunch anyway and were given a ticket for 2 for 1 mimosas. When our bill arrived it was a total shock- $110.00 for 3 $12 brunches and 3 mimosas!!! They had tacked on over $23 in service charges to our bill and we didn't even get good service. One guy who worked at the pool asked us what we were doing all day and when we said we were leaving to go to Rehab he rudely just got up and walked away!! And you wonder why we didn't want to hang out here and neither do any of the other hotel guests. Food choices in the Beach Café were totally disgusting and pizza looked like it was 6 days old. Pretty disappointing overall for what was supposed to be a 4 star hotel. I would never stay here again and recommend anyone to just pay a little more and go to MGM or someplace like that.

Excellent location..modern updates
The Tropicana was bright with an attractive Miami kind of theme, whites and orange colors throughout. The location was excellent and the Italian restaurant was upscale and delicious without being over-priced. The hotel appears new now after its' remodeling. The room was very nice with comfortable bedding and pillows..a very enjoyable stay.

Tropicana Las Vegas
The rooms were large and clean, the beds comfy. The service was great. The casino was nice, not real big but had everything I wanted. I did not eat at the hotel so I can't comment on that. There is a Starbucks which I did go to and had great service. The pool is awesome. Very nice place to stay.
