1 Year Anniversary
My husband and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary in Vegas and it was so much fun!! Treasure Island was such a great hotel. We had a late dinner at the Vietnamese Restaurant and had breakfast at the Coffee Shop, the food was great!! The room was nice and spacious. The cover sheet of the bed had a little dirt on it, nothing gross thank goodness. It was very, very comfortable. The location was perfect! There was a monorail that goes to the Mirage which was great. The walks we took to the other hotels was not bad at all. The only little thing that needs fixing or a really good cleaning, was the shower head in the bathroom. The water pressure was terrible. It made my usual 10 minute shower into a 25 minute one. Other than that, it was nearly perfect!

Short walk from hotel
If you want to go to the hotels like Paris & MGM, there is a $5 monorail that you can catch from Harrah's, which is not too bad of a walk from TI, that makes stops there. Saved us some of the money we would've spent on a cab.

perfect location and parking
We have been staying at this location for 16 years and have tried only casinos but always come back here. We like the location and the parking is easy and easy acess to Spring Mt. Rd. The staff has always been helpful and we really like the pool. The only bad thing is the resort fee.

Great Location and good for the price
My husband and I took our first Las Vegas vacation and decided on TI for the value and the fact that it was on the strip. We had a fabulous time and if we had limited funds would definitely stay here again. Positives: For us, it's in a really great location. We really liked that end of The Strip. Also, the casino at TI is not super super packed so we could find a seat at a bar most nights and play video blackjack or Keno and drink comped drinks. We're not much in to the club scene anymore, so yes, this is our idea of a good time. Also, we went to see Mystere at TI, and it was a great show, and in our hotel so that was convenient. The room was clean and the beds were really comfortable. We checked in late and wanted a king bed but they were all gone so instead she gave us two queens and upgraded us to a view of the strip. It was well worth the compromise! The tram to the Mirage is nice. The buffet at The Mirage was amazing and for only a couple dollars more than TI, well worth the short tram ride. There is a Walgreen's right across the strip. Go there to get water or Gatorade and snacks and sunscreen. Much cheaper than the shops in the hotel! Negatives: We really only had one negative experience. When we checked in they took $140 out for a resort fee which we were expecting (stayed for five nights). The unexpected part was when she asked if we wanted to hold $100 for incidentals we might charge to our room. I said yes because I've stayed at other hotels which will only let you charge to your room if you hold a credit card and they usually hold a nominal amount. What we didn't realize was that they automatically hold $100 a day if you say yes to this charge. So they took $640 out of our account. If we had planned on spending $500 at TI that would have been fine but we didn't. Anyway, when we realize what happened we went down and asked if we could pay the resort fee on a different card so they would release the hold on the first card. They were very nice and said it would be no problem. They said it would only be a couple hours until the money was released. The money was not released until about 2 in the following morning and then when we got up the next morning they had charged us again! So basically we spent the better part of the next morning and afternoon on the phone with the bank and at the front desk trying to get things sorted out when we would have rather been at the pool. So, my message is, if you're going to stay there, make sure any charges upon check in are clearly explained to you! We will definitely stay there again, we will just make sure we know what we are paying for! All in all we had a fabulous time in Vegas! We will be back!

Time-saving tip:
Long walk from hotel
Buy a monorail ticket and go from one end of the strip to another in comfort. No need to tip a driver! You still have to hike through some of the hotels to get outside but you get to see some great casinos and you cut back on all the hassle of walking the strip.

Questionable "facility fee"
Hotel service was great! We had to ask for extra towels and shampoo a few times because there were 7 of us in 2 rooms and they were very promptly delivered. However, they charged us an extra mandatory $25/night/room "facility fee". We are still not sure what it meant since the pool and fitness center were not a part of the fee. It was very deceiving and a little shady since you have no choice but to pay it. It should have been included in the hotel price! Gets only 2 stars for value!

Too expensive for what you got.
Not very personal. Had wrong keys for our room three times that we had to exchange at the desk for the right keys. Gentleman at the desk very rude. Don't think I would stay there again.
