The Quad Resort & Casino Located next to Flamingo

So after waiting in a ridiculous line to check in, I was told I needed to be part of their Total Rewards gambling club before I could check in early, which was located across the casino. Once I had gone and done that, I was told that my reservation was for a "Basement Room" but that I could upgrade to a Deluxe Room for a nominal fee. Basement Room, I didn't even know that was legal. I was curious to see if they were serious, so I said okay, until they told me they were all essentially smoking rooms, since there were no windows to air them out. At that point, I was sufficiently late for a meeting that i just caved and paid for a deluxe room. The rest of the stay went fine, but next time I will pay the extra money to stay next door, and still be at the closest monorail station to the convention center.

The Quad was a nightmare for me. It took over an hour of standing in line to get checked in. There were 4 unused terminals they could have been using to speed it up. And the lines didn't diminish during the 4 days I was there. Every morning and every evening the lines backed up - with at least 3-4 open and additional check in spaces they could have used. Second, I tried calling the front desk for some quick information. I was put on hold. I waited 20 minutes before finally hanging up. I then called the Bell Desk. They said "speak to the manager" and switched me to that line. The phone got picked up ... and immediately hung up on me. This happened 3 times over my stay, The floors were grotesque throughout the hotel. I wouldn't dare walk barefoot on them. My room was almost as bad as the hallways. And last but not least ... I came home after 3 nights/4 days there with bed bugs. BED BUGS. Can you understand my horror??

Cheap , perfect place, no problems at all it is in the center of the action located at LAS VEGAS BLV, the only problem is the internet that you have to pay extra and the signal is low.. but for the price an the location i think it was good

All is always great with the staff- but these new resort fees were nothing but a 52% increase on the rate I paid last month! 52%!!!! Its under construction so that sucks too....loud trucks early AM

Overall value was excellent but if you consider the maze it takes to find your room and the room itself it is not that much of a deal. Hotel is dirty. Pool is closed. Had an old school tube TV in the room with a non operative remote. There was a sign on the lamp that said "light not working, Thanks" wow couldn't even replace a bulb. Floor was wet when I first got to room. I would probably not stay at this hotel again unless it was remodeled and given some TLC.

Staying at the Quad was a bit painful, and maybe just because it's under construction. The check-in line was the longest I've ever seen. The room shown in the photo is not a standard room, but a "deluxe" - Valet is free, which is nice, unless you come in a little later in which case it's full. The signage in the hotel is terrible, so good luck finding your way from the parking garage to the correct elevator for your room.

When we arrived I showed the check in desk our reservations that showed 2 queen beds non smoking and they said in order to get that room, I needed to pay an additional $40 as those rooms even though on line were not included in our packages even though we had the reservation information that we showed them. Felt this was bait and switch.

The staff is exceptional! Misty at the front desk was very helpful and I was impressed. The hotel is going renovations but they are not too bad. I very much enjoyed my stay here

It was an easy check in process. Comfortable beds and close to many of the locations. Clean hotel and staff was super friendly. I had a great experience.
