Dealertainers, divas and luaus define this worldly center-Strip classic
Like a favorite uncle, The Quad Resort & Casino Located next to Flamingo is a reliable presence at the center of the Las Vegas Strip. With a slightly kitschy tribute to ancient Japan, The Quad Resort & Casino offers a variety of entertainment, amenities and dining in a relatively compact space. Central to the casino floor are the famous "Dealertainer" celebrity card dealers. More entertainment includes Frank Marino's cross-dressing Divas, the acrobats of Japan's Matsuri and the world-class Auto Collections.Please be advised that this hotel will be under major renovations starting immediately and the projected completion date is sometime in late 2013. Effective immediately, vehicular access to The Quad from The Strip is permanently closed and all traffic must enter the property via the back entrance. forget the BAD reviews!
i actually got the car+hotel deal and let me tell you it was a great deal! I did not only save money but it was a great experience over all! I got Budget for the car rental and they were great i made sure both reservations were made and they surely were. The hotel I was iffy about just because of the reviews but both me and my boyfriend will defenatily stay there again. Is in the center of the strip and there is construction going on in the hotel, but i put in a special request to please place me in a room away from the construction to not be bother by the noise and they gladly gave me a great room. Everything in the room was clean and the bed was comfy. I stay in the 2nd tower room 1235 on the 12th floor and it was awesome. I know that once they are finish with the remodeling the hotel is going to be amazing! plus we went to both shows (divas and recycling) and they were both great shows.

Terriable hotel. Will never stay there again
The hotel parking garage is a long walk to the casino and difficult to find a spot on weekend days. We reserved a room with a king bed, but none were available when we checked in and so we were given two double beds. On friday morning we got up to shower and there was not hot water, and when you did run the shower the drain was very show in removing the water you would be standing in at least 6 inches of water. The room was nothing special. Stains on the carpet and chairs. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in .

You can't beat the location and price
For around $30 bucks a night to stay here right in the middle of the strip it is hard to do too much complaining. However, since recently under new ownership there is a lot of construction going on and the rooms are in need of an upgrade. I am suprised that our tv had a remote because it was that old. We did not have water one night which they gave us about a 6 hour notice and when it did come back on it was cold. But then again where else are you going to stay on middle of the strip for $30 bucks a night?!

Perfect Location
The location was perfect, right in the middle of the strip. The hotel was undergoing construction, but well worth the price. I would definately stay here again.

15 min walk to the Sands Expo Center
I had requested a non smoking room and was not aware of some construction, when i arrived the desk suggested that i upgrade away from the construction and receive a non-smoking room with a better view for $10.00 more per day. This is bait and switch. At this point the registration clerk, at the Quad, at her whim, can stick you with whatever room she wants if you raise a complaint. I felt that they were taking advantage of me. I had made this rsvp 3 months prior. They had plenty of time to notify me that they were going to ding me for a extra $50.00.

What a deal... What a show...Awesome visit!
The Quad gave me an early check in option which I couldn't pass up with no extra money required! Check in time took me 5 minutes, Extremely friendly staff from check-in to check-out and all the way in between. I received a great deal for my room! My room was clean, comfy bed easily accessible and No Noise from the renovations! Hash House A Go Go Resturaunt in The Quad....best kept secret on the strip....portions are huge, food unbelievably delicious, staff was so nice and willing to give great food recommendations! I devoured my Chicken pot pie... Try it! RECYCLED PERCUSSION!!!!!! A definite must watch interactive (they give you a drum stick and drum at the door to drum along) percussion show! You can check them out on YouTube if you dont believe me! These guys will have you on the edge of your seat it is so fun and they are quite humorous as well! I received a buy one get on free coupon when I checked in! However the show is well worth paying full price for each ticket! Plus they are willing to autograph and take pictures after their show! And the show is in The Quad.... How convenient!

Room was OK. We went to that hotel because it was cheap and in a good location. It is under remodeling. If you are looking for quality and a nice hotel this is not your place.
