Like a favorite uncle, The Quad Resort & Casino Located next to Flamingo is a reliable presence at the center of the Las Vegas Strip. With a slightly kitschy tribute to ancient Japan, The Quad Resort & Casino offers a variety of entertainment, amenities and dining in a relatively compact space. Central to the casino floor are the famous "Dealertainer" celebrity card dealers. More entertainment includes Frank Marino's cross-dressing Divas, the acrobats of Japan's Matsuri and the world-class Auto Collections.Please be advised that this hotel will be under major renovations starting immediately and the projected completion date is sometime in late 2013. Effective immediately, vehicular access to The Quad from The Strip is permanently closed and all traffic must enter the property via the back entrance. A rocking good time at the QUAD!
The staff is exceptional! Misty at the front desk was very helpful and I was impressed. The hotel is going renovations but they are not too bad. I very much enjoyed my stay here

Bad Bad Bad
The hotel is in the middle of remodeling. We got there and we werent sure where the entrance. There is a sign that you cant even see that points to the garage entrance. You literally have to take about 5 elevators to get to the rooms. Front desk lady was awful. Got to the room and it smelled so bad, like that mold smell. The room is super outdated. Balcony view was looking at another buildings wall. We had to pay for internet. seriously? for a hotel going through so much stuff it should have been free!! Although the location is perfect it is just not worth it. Also, the lobby/front desk and the casino are together, it smells like alcohol and cigarretes.

Magic convention stay

Average holiday hotel
Basic hotel comfortable enough although reception staff leave a lot to be desired. Cleaners were nice and they workked hard. The new casino is due to open soon so it's anyones guess what difference this will make. Overall value for money even if the hotel is slightly tired.

Getaway
We had a below average stay at The Quad. We do understand the remodeling going on and allow that. We stayed on a smoking floor and you noticed that as soon as you got off the elevator. We had a couple plumbing problems. We were moved to another room since they were not going to be able to fix immediately. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Besides the condition of the hotel, we were satisfied with our stay.

Under Construction is one thing but....
place is under major construction, so I can understand some dust etc. However the carpets are filthy, duct tape around the walls, stains throughout the hall ways. Upon checking in the lady offered us an upgrade to a room with a balcony facing the strip...we accepted! When we got to the room, the room smelled of an unflushed toilet and cigarettes (even with that patio door open), the room faced the strip and the carnival club which means music boomed directly into our room until 3am every night that we stayed. I think the place will be nice once its completed, however during the renovations.. its pretty disgusting. So filthy I wouldn't suggest going bare foot after a shower. Worse than what I would expect from a cheap motel. Got a decent price, however if I knew it was going to be filthy I could've spent the same amount else where and at least got a floor that was vaccumed!! side note: numerous patrons complained of losing power while we were checking in...

needs major overhaul
heavy stains on the carpet, tears in the carpet. cigarette burns in the chairs plus stains. Water did not drain in second room. First room had a musty smell and seemed damp. Charged me $15 upgrade to go to another room that had a worse tv (tube vs flat) and the drain did not work in shower. But the carpet was cleaner........

3 night stay
It was fine. Hotel is close enough to the strip. Actual room location requires going up levels then down levels and is bottlenecked by a slow elevator, which was pretty annoying. Room itself was fine.
