Like a favorite uncle, The Quad Resort & Casino Located next to Flamingo is a reliable presence at the center of the Las Vegas Strip. With a slightly kitschy tribute to ancient Japan, The Quad Resort & Casino offers a variety of entertainment, amenities and dining in a relatively compact space. Central to the casino floor are the famous "Dealertainer" celebrity card dealers. More entertainment includes Frank Marino's cross-dressing Divas, the acrobats of Japan's Matsuri and the world-class Auto Collections.Please be advised that this hotel will be under major renovations starting immediately and the projected completion date is sometime in late 2013. Effective immediately, vehicular access to The Quad from The Strip is permanently closed and all traffic must enter the property via the back entrance. Not Great
After a 45 min wait to check in and a rude desk clerk This place somehow ended up costing me $181with the $10 resort fee. This placed was not nice at all. The carpet in our room had iron burns. You could see outside around the AC. The sink and shower were badly stained. there was a hole in the floor with wires coming though. Our calls to the front desk were not returned. Left a wake up call never did get it. the window sill was full of dead bugs and dirt. The same spill outside the elevators was still there when we left . Maid did not even take out the trash. I know I didn't sign up for 75$ a night will never book everything together again

i have been to this hotel before and really enjoyed my stay....but i hated everything about t this time. staff unfriendly...hotel room dirty..air conditioner broken and not fixed by end of stay....elevators not working...and water pressure was nil...i loved the ip.....but hate you have done to it sucks too be frank

Renovations are not complete
I have been to Vegas several times and stayed at the Imperial Palace before. It was outdated and smoky then. The casino is renovated and quite nice. The rooms have not been renovated, and are old and fairly nasty. The worst part right now, though, is how confusing it is to get from point A to point B. Hallways and elevators are poorly marked and sometimes lead to strange places. Still, this would be ok if all you want is a place to put your suitcase and sleep.

could be cleaner
Was expecting a little more from the Quad. I know they were in the middle of reconstruction, but the state of the hotel was inadequate. Our room was not even cleaned properly upon arrival. Great location though.

Like a Motel 6
Overall value was excellent but if you consider the maze it takes to find your room and the room itself it is not that much of a deal. Hotel is dirty. Pool is closed. Had an old school tube TV in the room with a non operative remote. There was a sign on the lamp that said "light not working, Thanks" wow couldn't even replace a bulb. Floor was wet when I first got to room. I would probably not stay at this hotel again unless it was remodeled and given some TLC.

It's Currently Under Construction
Staying at the Quad was a bit painful, and maybe just because it's under construction. The check-in line was the longest I've ever seen. The room shown in the photo is not a standard room, but a "deluxe" - Valet is free, which is nice, unless you come in a little later in which case it's full. The signage in the hotel is terrible, so good luck finding your way from the parking garage to the correct elevator for your room.
