Avoid Roxys Diner -- great decor, great service - HORRIBLE FOOD. Probably the worst food I've ever had in a restaurant.

Poor quality room
The room was clean but poor quality. The toilet paper holder was so old that it was larger than the toilet paper roll so the roll would barely stay on the roller. Very small windows :-( very cheap furniture. TV speakers didn't work very well. If you turned up the volume at all the sound was distorted. Bedside lamp didn't work unless you giggled the switch. Was to far away for both the big strip and Femont.

The bus worked great for getting to Fremont and only cost $8.00 for a 24 hr ticket. Cab to Fremont was $10.00 without tip each way.

Fair deal for price
Rooms were just like what was shown on website for refurbished updated room. They were very pleasant. Check in staff was robotic but it was a busy weekend. Room faced a blank wall (make sure to ask for a higher floor above 9) Bathroom lighting was dim to say the least. Overall, fair price for the location and amenities.

It was on the Las Vegas strip at the very end more away from the crowed but to where you could get to everything you needed and wanted to do bus stops right in front to take you to the strip, downtown and to the fremont experience

there are plenty of places to dine in the hotel and right outside the hotel only a 2 min walk very quiet and dont forget to eat at the top of the world in the stratosphere it is great experience

Just so so
It is said that the hotel is at the strip, but it turned out to be 3 miles away. The sink was blocked when we were there. The AC was too noizy. But the staff service was nice.

North end but still fun
Yes the Stratosphere is not right on the main street of the strip but it is still fun. You are only about a 5 min walk to the Light Rail or 20 min walk to Fashion Show Mall. The Casino is very clean and the staff is wonderful. The Pool Staff is beyond fantastic, and will make sure you are always taken care of.

For the price it is perfect
I stayed in the new select rooms. They were comfortable and clean. but the walls where thin. The view was less than mediocre but that's life. The casino was easy to navigate. but only has one Cashier desk. The ace player card gives you some nice perks, but for the couple of grand i spent I did not receive one comp.

You are only a couple of miles from the "old strip" Fremont street is worth visiting. cheap drinks and free entertainment.

my stay at strosphere hotel
The staff was polite. The hotel only had one kind of soap with fragarence in it ,when i called housekeeping to ask for a scent free soap ,i was told that was all they had. Thats bad for customers who are allergic to scent in soaps.The hotel was way far from the strip but bus service was real close by.They dont offer free internet or many other amenenties but mabye all vegas hotels charge for these extras,i dont really know.-
