Hanging w Friends
If you're looking for a low key, relaxing and fun place to stay with friends, check out the Stratosphere. It's at the end of the strip and away from the congestion. We loved the drinks, cozy atmosphere, and of course the unbelievable view of the strip at 107 Lounge. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We only wished we had a microwave and fridge. Overall, it was a good experience and will be back.

Onthedivide
Not to bad, at the far end of the strip.
If you want to be walking distance to all the fun be prepared to do some walking. The area around is not that great either. But if you just going for a place to sleep and a decent hotel it's alright.

Dirty 30
Worth the cost
The hotel rooms were basic and nothing special. In our situation, it was perfect. No reason for it to be extravagant if you are only going to be there to sleep. For the cost, you can't beat it. It is at the end of the strip, so invest in a bus pass. It wasn't too hot, so we decided to walk sometimes. The walk gives you exercise and more time to drink. Buffet was good and the thrill rides was worth it when you have a 2 for 1 discount. Casino has a relax feel and the dealers were nice and patient. Downfall it is not in heart of the strip but that's the only bad thing I can say about it.

Above the Stratesphere
Nth bedrooms were nice, the slots were loose and staff was ver friendly and helpful. On the down slide , the pool closes at 7pm and the top of the Stratesphere closes early, too. Don't waste your time with going to see PINUP. Claire St Clair is lovely, but that is about it. She doesn't sing or dance and relies on the other talent to carry a show that has no creative consistency. The music and costuming are from different time eras, but the band was great! It's surely is a low budget production.

Top of the World at the Stratosphere has a beautiful indoor lounge as well as shops, while the floor above has an outdoor 360 view of the city.

the hotel was super chill with the updated room that we stayed in. the tower was awesome and so was the view, however we did cut our stay short due to the distance of this hotel from the other hotels on the strip. if you rent a car while in Vegas it is an ok location but if you are like us and chose not to then the location sucks!

Fun single girl
Girls Weekend
The hotel was friendly and accommodating. They even easily extended my reserbvation for another day, since my flight didnt leave till late at night, so I didn't have to check out early. The pool was nice, but didn't quite have the "club" vibe I was looking for and the drinks at the pool bar were a little expensive, for a hotel a little off the beaten path. The bartenders and servers were fun though. Although the pool waitresses could have been a little faster with service.

Definitely do your research on Vegas buffets before you go. There's great value out there, you just need to know where to look! And plan ahead, cabs can be expensive!

Get a Deuce Bus ticket for $8 for 24 hours. The bus will take you up and down the strip with many stops in between.

Great price, kinda far
The Stratosphere turned out to be a nice hotel. We stayed in one of the Select rooms, which is what I would recommend for anyone planning to visit. The room could've been cleaner upon arrival, but it definitely wasn't disgusting or unbearable. If I came across another deal like the one I received I would stay there again. Otherwise, I would prefer to be closer to the action, but that's just me.

Be sure to purchase a bus pass for the Deuce. Since the Stratosphere is away from the action, it was the best way to get up and down the strip without having to walk forever (especially at night) or run up a pretty high taxi bill. It runs 24 hours and stops right in front of the hotel, making it very convenient.
