Not Shabby
Far enough away from the main "Strip" to be less crowded, but close enough to Freemont St and the main Strip to be convenient. The Hotel itself is a little older and not as shiny as it once was, but the bed was amazing. The only real negative I have is that it's $11.99 a day per device internet access. That's crazy! Other than that, it's a good value, comfortable Hotel. I'd stay there again.

The hotel itself is nice but the hidden fees are ridiculous after booking znd paying the room rate and taxes once I arrived there I was charged an additional 12.99 a night resort fee and told it would be an additional 10.00 a night to get a refridgerator because their rooms doesn't come with one..on my check out date I wanted to print my boarding pass as the hotel had a computer and a printer but only for a fee 11.99 ....not to mention the bathroom smelled like a sewer my fiance used all his body spray trying to keep the smell out of the rm Complained to front desk they were supposed to send houskeeping but they never came

its getting better
I was.pleased see that the city is cleaning up the situation of those people laying out those hooker cards all over the place. I don't mind refusing to take them from someone, but I hated the situation where my kids were seeing them all over the ground. I liked having the choice. we had a great trip and our stay was extrememly enjoyable. thanks to the city of las Vegas for keeping the city cleaner for us.

son's 21st b-day gift
had been to vegas before, and stayed at south end of strip. visited stratosphere for the sights last time, and thought it was nice. i spent a lot of time searching and reviewing places for this trip. read a lot of reviews, some not so good. but we decided we were going to stay at the stratosphere anyway. i can honestly say i am glad we did. we upgraded upon arrival to a suite room, which had 2 large beds and a pullout couch. we had 4 people in the room, so we had lots of room. the pool outside on the 8th floor was fantastic. the staff was awesome. buffet was good. travel to and from was easy. the only downside i can say is no fan in the bathroom. i would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone.

Not Applicable
if staying more than 2 days, but a 3 day pass for the deuce/sdx busses. for 20.00, go where you want any time. can also be used to get to/from airport- no need to pay for shuttle. the buffet at stratosphere was very good. for 30.00, you have all day to eat, per person. if buying beer while walking the strip, stop at walgreen's and other drug stores- MUCH cheaper than resorts, or street bars.
