Old Hotel
I'm not sure exactly how old this hotel is but it seemed as if it needed a complete renovation 10 years ago. The rides and sky jump on the top of the tower were fun as well as the casino floor. The hotel in general just seemed really old, and it didn't help that it wasn't within walking distance to the main part of the strip.

Not what I was hoping for but doable
although adaquate thought there would be more wow factor. Charged for internet, no mini fridge or microwave in room. Things were a bit dingy and not as well kept as they could have been. Wobbly table, broken electrical faceplates, holes in top of dresser where something use to be attached.

good stay
Hotel is north of the strip not to far from old downtown Vegas. However old Vegas is making a come back. The food and drinks are cheaper in old Vegas. The rooms and hallways were clean. The buffet was a little expensive. They have a descent happy hour at two of their bars. However, The hotel is far to walk to the strip. There is a I-hop and Denny and burger king one block from the hotel. So

Fair Condition, Not over Priced
It was fair the only special thing was the rides on top of the Stratosphere overlooking the strip. The room was ordinary even after i stayed in a newly remodeled one. The music in the lounge after midnight was great. Over all i give it an B for effort...

Worth the cost
The hotel rooms were basic and nothing special. In our situation, it was perfect. No reason for it to be extravagant if you are only going to be there to sleep. For the cost, you can't beat it. It is at the end of the strip, so invest in a bus pass. It wasn't too hot, so we decided to walk sometimes. The walk gives you exercise and more time to drink. Buffet was good and the thrill rides was worth it when you have a 2 for 1 discount. Casino has a relax feel and the dealers were nice and patient. Downfall it is not in heart of the strip but that's the only bad thing I can say about it.
