Renting a Bed only

The bed was comfortable. The shower was a trickle and it changed temperature several times during use, water pressure in sink was worse. The room offered a bed that's it, no frig, no coffee pot, and the WIFI was slow. I would recommend doing a little more research on Vegas hotels, Motel 6 will rent you a bed cheaper.

Room to breath

I had to leave for a business trip to Las Vegas at the last minute so I went online and booked my ticket to stay at a hotel. Not only what is the value of the hotel fantastic, the room was great. it was very spacious had a wonderful king size bed that was very comfortable to sleep although the view from the room left much to be desired has when I looked out my windows at the strip I couldn't see it. All I got was a balcony full of spotlights and air conditioning units. I really wasn't there to look out my window at the view of the strip however a better view would have been nice. Again the fare was fantastic and the room was comfortable in the Stratosphere was a nice place to stay. Should the situation arises again, I would have no hesitation making the same reservations again.

6th visit and the worst room

booked on line traveling 31st march the room booked is what i have booked the last five times i have visited the stratosphere. on arrival the room i was given was the pits never seen these rooms before, went to reception to change next room stank of cig smoke in a none smoking room again went to reception next room given we accepted only because we were tired. i booked in jan two rooms with interlocking door so why can these rooms not be allocated so we do not have to go through this again. when you see a room in a photo pick that room and it has a good rating you are then told the wording about rating is really about where you are i the hotel not the room grade it should be made clearer so it cost another 10 dollars a night for the rooms i had already paid for, family from england.

Select rooms are nice... when you're finally able to check in

The select rooms at the Stratosphere are really nice. The bed is really comfortable, and I liked the feel of the room and the view. I had to wait in a long line twice and didn't get checked in until 4 PM all said and done. The check-in process is just totally not working for anyone. Everyone in line tends to be sort of upset about it. I'd still recommend these rooms, especially if you get a good deal, but allow yourself some extra patience checking in. This is not the place to show up at 1 PM thinking you'll probably be let in. Also, the Internet was great, but I had to call the front desk to be connected to Cox for it to work on my MacBook Pro.

Vegas

I did not like the smell of smoke. But, it is inevitable some places. Especially in Vegas and in a hotel casino. Unfortunately... It looks a little iffy, but it was fine. It's a place to stay... If you want some more comfort, convenience, and pizzazz then go elsewhere. Lol. My mother and I went to see Celine Dion and saw some of the area. We were not there for long. I paid for the trip with my first few paychecks and waited until last minute (thinking the prices would go down during Christmas). We went the first week of January 2014. So, I could only afford 3 days and basically it was just 1 whole day. Ha. Oh well. We had fun! First Vegas trip for me and first for her in 15 or so years.

Roxy's Diner is cool! 50's style look. Playing classic movies on a big movie theater screen. Not too crowded when we went. If you are looking for low key and some grease then this is the place!

Vegas Life

We came to Vegas for the first time. We decided to stay here because of the pricing. When we arrived we realized this hotel was away from the MAIN point of the strip. At first we were very disappointed. I can honestly say I cant wait to stay here again. The restaurants were amazing, rooms were very clean, room service was excellent.
