Great Getaway

The hotel was great more than expected. Staff was very knowledgeable of the area. It is perfect if you don't like the busyness of the main strip in Las Vegas. The only problem was if you take the shuttle to the strip you have to be back to catch the last one at 8pm. Overall was a great place to stay..

Nice getaway

The Palms hotel was nice. My husband and I had reserved a room at Palms Place which is the newer tower, but when we arrived they offered to upgrade our room to a large suite in the Palms because they were doing some renovations. My husband and I agreed to switch. We were set up in the "Play Pen" room which had a seperate bedroom apart from the sitting area. We had a nice view, and the room was newly renovated so it was really nice. The beds were really comfortable! This hotel is off of the strip, which is kind of a bummer. When we go to Vegas, we usually stay on the strip which is more convenient. We got a really good deal at the Palms, so we figured we would try it out. That is the only bummer aout this hotel. If it were located on the strip it would be great. But, the Palms does offer a shuttle that leaves every 30 minutes to Ceasars Palace which is located at the center of the strip. We did use this shuttle one time and it was definitely convenient. The other times we went to the strip we either drove or took a cab. The cab rides definitely add up though. While at the Palms, we spent some time at the pool which is pretty nice. We did go up and check out the club Moon on Thursday night after we had some fun partying on the strip. The club wasn't great. Not that crowded and not a great looking crowd either. We only stayed 10 minutes or so. Overall, the staff was polite and the rooms were clean.

Great Rooms and Location

We really enjoyed our stay at the Palms Place. The rooms were excellent, and the view out our 19th floor even more spectacular! Nice pool and workout facility as well. The only pit fall was the pool was closed for inspection part of the time. Also to get food or Coffee had to go over to the Palms. 5 minutes But Pool over at the Palms, was even nicer! We would stay here again.

great time

we spent 5 days there, we were met at the front desk by cassandra, she was wonderfull. we were upgraded us to a 1 bedroom suite, the room was a complete apartment in cluding 1&1/2 baths,it was real great to have the fireplace in the chilly morning , everyone we met were very nice and helpful. the walkway to the casino was made easier by the moving sidewalks, also the casino was very easy on us. we will be staying there again

Vegas for a week

The room itself was great! Large enough for 4 girls to spend the weekend here. The staff for the most part was great, service was just a little slow. The hotel was great! The GBDC was amazing! The pool was great never too crowded and most days I had great service at the bar. My only problem was its location to the strip, it's a long walk and at least a 10 cab ride, but they do offer a free shuttle every half hour from 11am till 8pm which helps. Overall the experience was great, my only issue is the location from the strip. But if you have a car it's definitely a great place to stay.

Best hotel not on the strip period

Palms Place is everything you would want in a Vegas hotel. Two tv's in the living room full kitchen big comfy bed and spectacular views. The only drawback is the distance to the casino but the room you get for the price makes up for the walk
