- Variety is the key element when it comes to coordinating the perfect meeting. The Palms Casino Resort and Palms Place offer beautifully designed conference rooms, theaters, lounges and restaurants for your next event. But what really sets us apart are our unique venues like Ghostbar, Moon and the world's only Playboy Club. It's no wonder MTV chose the Palms to host the 2007 Video Music Awards. Fantastic
The Hotel was great. From the time you arrive at the valet through check in Room as beautiful they are newly remodled, Cleening staff where great. Bistro Buffet was excellent and very reasonably priced with a players card. Check out was quick and easy on the tv. We did have 2 nights of noisy neighbours partying. But hey it is Vegas.

Not Four Star
First Impression was not good. They gave us the key to the wrong room. Check us in to a smoking room. When I requested a non-smoking room, third time a charm. Buffet was o.k. The first people you meet are unhappy work with short sentances not a smile anywhere. Then if you have a party of eight or more thye charge you 20% for tip. For someone who only show up to give you a drink and maybe by the time you leave they show up again. Poor service. I will say that they do have outstanding service at the pool. The pool staff were freindly, they smile. Hats off to them. Their is more but not room.

Great location away from the Strip
Overall a very nice experience. We did have an issue with the air conditioning in the room, but a very friendly technician came right away and fixed the issue. The views were very nice, and it's great that it's away from the traffic congestion of The Strip, and yet it's still close enough to visit conveniently. Recommended.

A Great Get Away!!!
I sent my son, his fiance' and their daughter for a little "R&R". When I made reservations I requested a high floor with a view. They were given the 20th floor with a good view of the strip. The staff was extremely friendly and everyone had a great time. I will be going there next month (without them) to check it out. (hahahaha) I would have given it a 5 all the way through but the 1st round of reservations (via chat) was rough and the cost was a little steeper that the Trump was having that weekend.

Mediocre stay
We got the orbitz package that included a free bottle of alcohol. Upon check-in we only received a coupon pamphlet. Not a big deal since we played the tables and got free drinks constantly. The location was nice, not too far from the strip and about 12 bucks to get where we needed. The most surprising bit of our trip was how the hotel room didn't live up to its described orbitz description. The view was horrible. We could only see the roof that needed cleaning. Our toilet seat was cracked and pinched every time we sat down. The hotel is not properly prepared to accomodate the handicap. Lack of wheelchairs and no shower assistance hardware. Despite the downfalls, I would stay in this hotel again. The hotel is quite clean compared to other hotels. The dealers are friendly and made my first vegas experience a great one.

Great experience for being a bit off the "strip!"
Very clean, classy resort, AMAZING pool area, good casino! Breakfast buffet had something to please everyone - but be sure to register all people who will be using buffet or other amenities and carry ID & room key everywhere. Staff is careful about who uses accounts and who goes where. Would definitely visit again!

Great Younger Crowd Hotel
Off the strip, and they do not offer transportation to the strip which would be a huge plus! We did however walk over to the hotel across the street and use theirs! Staff is amazing. They accomodated us with a roll away bed free of charge when there was a misunderstanding on the suite set up. Bed is so comfy! Line for free buffet is rediculous. It takes about 10--15 minutes for them to get people checked in, when there is an empty dining room! Only down fall.....sucks that you have to walk through the casino to get to the pool.

Just okay
For my first to Vegas, I had high hopes for the "great hotels" in Vegas...but the Palms did not live up to this expectation. Underwhelming is a great word to describe my experience. First, there is no ambiance when you walk into the hotel lobby. For many hotels on the strip, the lobbies are worthy of pictures and quite lovely. The Palms is smoky and plain. Second, the smoke smell continued into the hotel rooms. If you're a smoker, great, but for those of us non-smokers, this is not good. Third, the price at the Palms does not reflect the hotel's less than stellar location. With a hotel located a cab ride away from the strip, the prices should be lower. Overall, our stay at the Palms was just okay. Next time, I'll spend the same amount of money (or maybe less!) and stay in a newer, nicer hotel on the Strip.

Deluxe Guestroom
It's a great looking room & very comfortable to sleep in. Cons. Lock out of the mini bar & balcony. The bathtub water jets were so loud and tub shake that I was to afraid to continue to use it. Casino had a handful of people in it not many games to play to feel like your winning. Pros only 5 mins bus ride to the strip. If you don't mind walking 200 yds to get breakfast from room and catching the bus to go gamble on the strip. Then this would be the place to stay at.

Use the bus to get around the strip and to downtown (20-30min ride). Well worth it. Also the Monorail to go from one end to other end of strip. Trip time15mins. Not kidding..
