Venetian's sister adds 5-star luster to legacy
Venetian may be all about opulence, but its newer sequel, the all-suite, five-Diamond Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino, takes the swankier, cooler spin on luxury. A magnet for stars, the exclusive Palazzo features spacious suites, a remarkable shopping arcade anchored by Barney's New York (the only one in Vegas), outstanding restaurants, the world-famous Canyon Ranch SpaClub, Azure's luxury pool experience, Lagasse's Stadium and sports book and more. Guests also enjoy more shared amenities and dining at the adjacent Venetian.
Highlights

  • The Palazzo Las Vegas will come alive with the fantasy, food, fun and romance of Italy during Carnevale.  This is a three-month celebration of Italy's summer festival from 27 May to 08 September 2013. Based on the highly successful premier in 2012, the festival will be expanded with new events and special new experiences exclusively for the guests.
  • Lavo restaurant and nightclub for amazing Italian cuisine, Strip views from the outdoor Terrace and celebrity sightings
  • Star Chef dining options that include Wolfgang Puck's award-winning CUT, Emeril Lagasse's Table 10 and Lasgasse's Stadium
  • Canyon Ranch SpaClub, one of the largest day spas in the world
  • Granted the LEED-Silver NC Award, making The Palazzo the largest green building of its kind.

Some Palazzo suites include sofa sleepers, while several larger suites are available with features like media rooms, pool tables or grand pianos. Upgrade to Prestige-level suites for an impressive concierge lounge with complimentary food, drinks, business center and more. All guests at Palazzo Resort Hotel and Casino appreciate the standard touches in all suites, including fresh flowers, luxurious robes and slippers, and a substantial in-room dining menu. Wi-Fi Internet access is also included in the resort fee.
Features
Spanning 50 stories, the Palazzo Resort Hotel and Casino takes a deliberate spin on contemporary, first-class elegance. Take in the warm Vegas sun and sip refreshments among the Palazzo's seven pools (some open year-round), four hot tubs, 41 cabanas (fees apply) and several dining options. Guests looking for a more exclusive pool experience gravitate to the Azure luxury pool, where massages, Evian misters, house music, and chilled grapes and towels are the norm (fees apply, VIP reservations strongly recommended).

For sophisticated gaming action, try mobile gaming with handheld gaming devices or check out Emeril Lagasse's Stadium and sports book complete with 109 TVs and the best sports book eats in town. Entertainment options at The Palazzo span headlining acts and nightlife.

Clean and Comfortable. Quite luxury indeed. However, it is quite a long walk from city center.

Great Getaway

We have stayed at many hotels in Vegas and are usually disappointed but say "it's Vegas". We arrved at noon on a Friday, our room was ready, and we had a nice view. The Front desk staff were very friendly. After we checked in, we went down to the pool and found lounge chairs right away. Ordered room service the next day, it was on time and again, the staff was very friendly. It was a great getaway weekend!

Glitches make this not 5-star despite 5-star facility

I was very much looking forward to my stay at Palazzo, which was going to be the 2nd time in a month a stayed here (the first stay having been seamless). I arrived on a Friday night and yes, Vegas was busy -- BUT for a FIVE-STAR hotel to have a 40-45 minute check-in line and, despite my booking a "non-smoking king size bed" room, I ended up with a smoke/cigarrette-scented room, I'm sorry but that is simply not 5-star service. I also found the check-in process itself to be rather unpleasant as the staff really seemed indifferent to the fact that about 50-60 guests were standing in a massive line waiting while 4 out of some 10-12 service windows were operative (despite other staff meandering around ignoring the guests but not opening up new stations). I will say that the Palazzo's facilities are definitely 5-star, the rooms themselves (if you get the one you want) are very spacious and nice, the casino is fun and restaurants and room service are good (albeit the room service would take 45 minutes to arrive - again, a 5-star hotel would have it to you in 30 min or less typically). So overall not bad but I do not feel this was a "5-star" experience by any stretch. I know the other 5-star hotels and unless there is a "Steal" on a Palazzo room, I plan to go elsewhere next trip. Sorry, Palazzo but my back is still aching from that 45 minute waiting in line just to check in!!!

Great hotel but facillities expensive

Hotel amenities in the room are lagging except for fridge full of hotel products and no coffee maker in the room. One has to order for minimum 1 liter of coffe in room service for over $16 ! Amazing. However the hotel rooms are comfortable and not noisy. Hotel is near to all actions and shows and night life. Staff is very helpful. Overall good experience.

Girls Getaway

Although many casinos allow smoking, this casino did not have the odor as several others do. The ambiance was grand and spacious. The lighting is much better throughout with reference to the casino. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious as well - perfect for two to four in a room. Pools and Spa are beautifully with luxury touches as expected. Had great food at Tao and Lavo restaurants.

Great trip!

My husband and I went on a trip to Vegas with 6 other couples and had a blast! We stayed at the palazzo which was incredible from the room to the pools to the casino. It was also super convenient since it is attached to the Venetian and close to many other hotels.

Short getaway

I had already stayed at the Venezia. This time I stayed at the palazzo which I preferred. Love the location. Our trip was cut short due to a death in the family. We will try to go back soon and would love to sty here again.
