If you don't stay in the room much

If you don't stay in the room much this please is good. The hotel itself it ok, nothing like MGM or New York buut if you don't stay in your room much this place is a cheap way to go. The pool isn't great and the food is ok. BTW the rooms aren't what they look like on the website.

You get what you pay for

We were in need of a couple of nights at a good price and that's what we got. Paid an amenity fee for NOTHING. Pool was too cold to swim in and didn't find any other amenities. Staff was not helpful and rooms were very old and in poor repair. Location right next to freeway was very LOUD! Would not stay there again!

Do not stay here! NO!

I stayed in the courtyard. As soon as I walked in, I had a sneaking feeling I did not belong - place looked rough. It was also worrysome that the person who checked me in made a big deal about out how they keep a deposit of $100 on your credit card in case you ruin something. What do you think I plan to do in my room? The smell of stagnant water and mold greeted you when you entered the room, the carpet was icky and I didn't take my shoes off. Towels were grey and smelled odd. The worst part was the noise ALL night. There were people loudly talking in all rooms around me, smoking, playing the guitar and singing drunk country songs. Twice during the night , someone pounded on my door and there were several incidents of someone checking if it was locked. I could here security dealing with folks in the hall. I felt afraid to leave my room. The place may have been called "Palace" but it felt like a dirty halfway house for criminals. NO!

Bates Motel

This was a stinky and dengy place, the mattress are worn out, curtains were grimy looking, carpet was old and i didn't want to walk on it with my shoes. The best thing about the room was the bathroom because it was update. The room was so out dated the paint on the desk was chipped and the desk and chair were old. I will never stay there again. We stayed 1 nite and left and stayed at a much nicer hotel.

you get what you paid for

Well, I can only say you get what you paid for. Cons first : We booked two rooms, 1st one you can smell heavy smoke when you walked in so we have to changed to another room. 2nd one the sink is clogged, the hair dryer doesn't work...... Their staffs are great though, greeting you politely. My wife lost her phone because the 1 yr old was playing it in the hallway, my wife asked one of the security guy, he radioed the main station and quickly found it's at "Lost and Found" The other good thing is that their buffet is very very cheap. The quality is average, but the Price/Quality ratio is excellent.

Not so good

First, they put us in the courtyard which required a hike through the casino and then we had to go up a flight stairs with our luggage (no elevator). The room was tiny and cramped. The bathroom had very little space for toiletries and the shower curtain would not stay in place so everything in the tiny bathroom ended up wet. We also stayed at the Sunset Station on this trip and Sunset was 3 times better than the Palace Station.

Dissappointed

At check-in we were told that our reservation of a king size bed could not be honored (reservation made 2 months prior) because we booked thru you. They guarantee room only no other acomodations. They gave us a room with a DOUBLE bed, not even a queen. Mattress was worst I have ever slept on, could feel the springs. No tub, extremely noisy wall a/c. Second nite were transferred to a king room, same thing just a bigger lousy mattress. Will never stay there again. If you cannot guarantee room as reserved, bed, etc. then will no longer use you.

"Double Check your hotel website & amenties before you book"

My original hotel advertised with this package was another hotel, however when i hit the send button I got a bad hotel. It would have been all good had they booked me into a better room but I was given a room in a smokey smelly area in their old building. The staff member at the desk originally said they had no rooms to change us to. Once I call and explain the situation. I requested non smoking as my husband has a C-pap machine. They offer to treat room. I went back to the front desk and spoke with VIP staff who offered to change the room. Hmm then I guess there was rooms available. No Coffee maker or mini frig, or safe in the room. Carpet was unclean. Lock our things in suitcase everyday. This location is 2.5 star hotel and casino if u just want a place to crash.
