What can we say but brilliant fom the setting to location to staff.The bars are great the food is food but good food.Location is good loads of busses to and from the strip and cheap,Did i mention the bars great days and nights to be had .Only one little thing think if you are resident in the hotel you should not have to pay admitance to the bars after 10pm but that said we will be back well done.

I cant really say wow what a great place to stay. It was just ok. One thing I really didn't like was that they charge a resort fee. I think I will try one of the nrwer hotels on the strip next time.

Very good!
We enjoyed our stay at New York-New York! It was clean, spacious and with great location to visit other hotels in Vegas. The ammenities, bar and restaurants were many and great. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was way better than other hotels that I have stayed at in Vegas.

Great value/stay over Thanksgiving
Surprised the wife with her first ever trip to Vegas for Thanksgiving and anniversary. Hotel upgraded our room when they found out we were there celebrating our anniversary. Restaurants in the hotel were priced as expected but you got your $$ worth. Nice location on the Strip. Very nice experience.

Not everthything we'd hoped for
Although the room was nice, to start we got hit up for a hidden "resort fee" which brought the price of the room up about $20 a night. When we got to our room, it was spotty getting the internet connected to the laptop or the IPAD. The room was nice and the view was great. In between shopping, dining and seeing sights, we wanted to kick back and watch some football. Instead of the usual commercials (which I'm not usually a fan of) we were constantly reminded that if we wanted to watch adult films, our bill would show it "discreetly". Not what I was hoping for.

Needs updating and improved bedding
The rooms are aging and very average at best. The mattress was shot, soft, uncomfortable with crushed foam pillows... pretty cheap feeling room. The air conditioning/heating unit was very old. The tv was also old and worked just fair. I liked the common space, food, casino and lobby, like many Vegas resorts were done well, but they are not keeping the rooms up to standard.

Good all rounder. Busy theme hotel. NYC buzz in LV. 2nd time... And would go again. Value mid range.. Yes better out there if you want to pay... But also a lot lot worse.... Visit most on the strip, and you will stick on the carpets! But not at NYNY

New York New York Hotel
The room was exceptionally clean. I don't recall seeing a coffee maker or refrigerator in the room. The king bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. Room was very quiet. Nice selection of restaurants in hotel to choose from. Got a $50 voucher for in-hotel meals upon check-in which was great. Price was right for room! Would stay here again. I'm not a gambler so all that was of no consequence to me. Easy walking to other hotels, cabs always on-site and available.
