CityCenter's spruced-up neighbor keeps it fun and classy
"Unpretentiously luxurious" is the catchphrase used by Monte Carlo Resort and Casino, and it definitely holds true. This Las Vegas hotel pays homage to one of Europe's most lavish sites, but its new restaurants, bars, entertainers and penthouse-level boutique HOTEL32 mean you can use the words "opulent" and "swanky" in the same breath. Very Nice, great location
Check-in was fast and easy, staff was very personable and helpful. The first night we weren't satisfied with our room because it was facing construction so we called down and they were able to get us into a new room facing the strip the next afternoon. The dinning selection was great and the hotel overall was very clean.

Great location
The Monte Carlo Resort and Casino was in an excellent location. It suited my needs perfectly for my trip. It was within walking distance to where I wanted to go and the room we had was comfortable.

The Monte Carlo was close to the MGM Grand, New York New York and the Mandalay Bay. It was right on the strip.

Great location..not overwhelming...
Right on vegas strip. walking distance to most hotels. Hotel not so huge it is overwhelming and was user friendly. Would have liked fitness club to be open past 9 pm and usage of internet service kiosks, though available was rather expensive. Rooms abit dated and no updated TV monitors; also, no premium or cable channels offered. Rooms, though clean, tended to be on the dark side. Comfortable beds and good service. Would recommend.

Great hotel but I don't want to hear the neighbors
I arrived at 1 pm and waited in line about 45 minutes for my room. The check in staff was crabby and was not at all welcoming. However the room was great, clean with a very comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. The only problem with the room was that I could hear the neighbors TV and their laughing. This surprised me. The health club was $22.50 that is way to high for a workout. With the temp of 107 F. I did not want to get my exercise outside. I also really appreciate a high end hotel which provides free wireless service this was $12.95. Over all great room but with some big disappointments.

Nice Hotel for the price
The hotel was comfortable and convenient. But, They did not have wireless internet access and charged to connect to a cable. Every hotel should have wireless today. Also, they actually charged $20 per day to use the fitness center. In 2008, exercise should be a regular part of your day and encouraged. You spend 45 minutes in a fitness center, not the whole day! The fitness center was really nice and looked as if no one ever used it. Probably not at $20. Hotels should encourage the use of a fitness center and certainly should not charge extra.

My review of Monte Carlo Resort and Casino
The hotel was great. The gentleman that checked us in was extremely helpful and did what he could to upgrade our room. Was very curtious and went the extra mile. The restaurants in the hotel were not so great. We ate at the Cafe. Has terrible service and food was bad. When we left, the bell man was somewhat rude to us because we didnt follow him directly downstairs. Was doing checkout on the TV. Overall hotel was nice and well kept. Room was great! Would stay here again if the price was right!

Nice Experiance
The room was comfortable with a very nice view. The location was excellent and worth the price. Not a luxury Hotel, but was clean.
