Monte Carlo Resort and Casino

Awesome hotel. Great pool area and Casino. Staff were excellent. Loved every minute of it.

Booked and paid in advance 3 months earlier for a strip view king room nonsmoking ....... checked in staff member was rude and totally unhelpful ...was told i had a choice of a 2 queens room or smoking king room.... had to take the smoking king room as i have a king bed at home I'm not down grading to a queen on holidays .... the room was old worn out and stunk i was discussed it was appauling burn holes in the carpet point peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom ....next time I'll just pay the $50 more a night and go back to wynn or cosmopolitan or planet Hollywood all cleaner better and friendlier.... also they didn't give my $50 resort voucher on checkin so i missed out on that as well ........NEVER STAY HERE IT'S TERRIBLE

Maybe I'm expecting to much these days, and maybe Vegas just isn't what I thought it should be. I'm disappointed that in order to have a nice room you need to spend 300+ dollars... The bed linens were dirty, they don't vacuum the floors well at all don't look at the edges of the rooms or corners Yuck!! It seems that you are nickel and dimed for everything, and I mean everything. Then I'm mad at myself because the only benefit to this hotel was a 50 dollar voucher for food and I forgot to use it. and for 25 dollars a day you can have a fridge for your room.

Lost a lot at the tables, but that didn't dampen my experience with the hotel. Friendly staff, even if very busy, all the amenities were there, and had a positive experience overall.

The stay was cheaper than some of the neighboring resorts, but we ate at the buffet that they supply, and I would say that the food was only ordinary in taste and variety. I don't like the fact that they add about a $20 a day resort tax for every day you stay, that they never tell you about until you check out! Hence the decreased value rating.

Stayed a week here in May. Swimming pool area fantastic (if you have not been before, no need to take towels as they give you them when you enter). Good location, free monorail to bellagio very useful. Rooms not really 4 star but had 42inch lcd tv, ipod station etc. Only gripe was no wi fi except on lower floors and ground floor. If you need wi fi ask for lower level room. We had a room on floor 25 overlooking strip which was spot on. Friends had swimming pool view which was good but very loud during day (if you need a power nap in the day, this is not the side you want to be on!). Overall a good hotel, with a good location and great amenities

We had a really good time during our stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff was great. The poolside was awesome. Rooms were average. I would go back.

The rooms were nice and big. I liked that they gave two complimentary water bottles per day. The bathroom was good/normal...nothing special. I also liked that I asked for a room with a view when I checked in, and they accommodated my request. There are a ton of places to eat in the hotel, ranging from food court style to nicer sit down restaurants. There is also a tram that will take you straight down to the Bellagio (loved how convenient that was). In addition, the hotel is directly connected to Aria. New York, New York is also next door, and there are a bunch of reasonably priced places to eat in there as well. The pool was nice, and there were a ton of lounge chairs so you won't get down there and have no place to sit and put your stuff down. The hotel staff as well as the dealers in the casino were very nice and helpful. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay.
