Due to the hotel's location near the bottom of the Boulevard, getting around may be easier by monorail or bus.  There is a three-day bus pass available to ride the Deuce buses if you're on a quick business stay, and one-day passes are relatively inexpensive for vacationers.

Decent

Nice rooms but I was there on business and the resort fees were high on top of hotel fees considering I wasn't there for fun.

Vegas

It was a beautiful resort in an ideal location. Even though we were on the strip, our room was quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room waa beautifully appointed and very clean. I can't remember the last time I slept in a bed that comfortable. The only downside was super slow Internet speeds.

Did not live up to the hype!

Was very excited about my stay at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. Days 1-3 were great! Day 4 was when we had not water due to a water main break at the hotel. No water all day on a vacation! Not good and it was about 100 degrees ever day. Also there was construction being done that woke us up also, the window washer etc! Had to call to find this out no one advised!!

BiCSI Conference Attendee

I had a great time at the Mandalay Bay Resort. I used the pool restaurant, indoor resteraunts, casino, and the convention center. They were all first rate. The gift shops were more expensive then neighbor venues (Luxor, Excaliber). Also I am in favor of restaurants listing their prices on the menu mounted outside. I enjoyed the Barrett Jackson Car Auction.

Wonderful long weekend

We needed a four day getaway and the hotel gave us everything we were looking for. The room staff was very friendly and attentive, as was the staff at the Moorea Beach pool. Looking forward to our next trip there.

Second time we have stayed there. It's our favorite Vegas hotel

Everything about our stay was great. Excellent staff. They had a problem on our floor before we checked in so they had us upgraded to a suite by the time we got there. Favorite hotel on the strip. Second time we've stayed there. Great casino. After a fun Vegas night the hotel rooms are comfortable and like going home to bed. And the pool area is great for next day relaxation before another fun Vegas night.

Would never go back

There was a 45 minute wait in a queue to check-in. For about $300 a night including the resort free, they don't even offer complimentary coffee in the room. The day before I left floors 3-13 had no water. The hotel is located at the South end if the strip so it's a long way to anywhere on the strip.

Climbing in luxury

Quick trip to climb at Red Rocks, splurged on a one night hotel stay at Mandalay the night before we left, best decision ever. Price for hotel room was reasonable and the room was far and above anything we expected. Talk about classy.
