Turn-of-the-century charm with modern appeal

The hotel offers excellent value and comfortable rooms. The Main Street Station Hotel is linked to the California Hotel and Casino via a covered bridge, and there is access to the pool next door at the California Hotel. The on-site brewery supplies the 777 Brew Pub, while guests enjoy juicy steaks in the Pullman Grill.

Fine for downtown area

Main Street Station is in a good area if you want to stay downtown. Slightly off the Fremont mall, it is close to the action but somewhat quieter. Although the furnishings are not new they don't seem to be overly dated. We like the atmosphere of the casino area and thought the breakfast buffet was a good deal. We would stay there again, but prefer staying on the strip.

Best kept secret in Las Vegas

This is a great place to stay. The staff are excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It's far enough from the Freemont Experience to be quiet but close enough to the action to be fun. The brewery is my favorite. My wife and I love the Black Chip Porter. I cannot wait to go back.

Extension of business trip

In town for a business training, stayed a few extra days. The public areas of the hotel and casino are beautiful and the room was very comfortable. The daily Wi-Fi charge is a bit pricey. Maybe get rid of it altogether? The credit for breakfast, though, was well worth it. I'd definitely return.

Vegas trip

We're not able to get I to our room by 4:00. So we got down graded to a room that seemed as if it had been sitting and there was a layer of dustbin everything.

Home base in Las Vegas

Our room at Main Street Station was large, but nothing special in terms of decoration or comfort. Parking was free, and there is no resort fee! Wireless is extra fee of $9.99. Location was convenient to Fremont Street Experience, and you can connect directly to it via the walkway into the California Casino. We were comfortable and had only minor issues. The staff was helpful. The breakfast buffet was good and well priced with many options, and the staff there was friendly. The prices and food at the Brewery/Restaurant were also good, and the staff there excellent and friendly.

Our favorite hotel in Las Vegas

This place is the best kept secrete in Las Vegas. The staff are always warm and welcoming. My wife and I love the brewery and restaurant. Great beers and food. The buffett is the best on Freemont. It is close enough to the Freemont Experience but not so close that you are affected by the noise. We will continue to come back here on a regular basis.

Sisters holiday

When booking Main Street Station, I had no idea what the rooms would be like, but the price was great and I knew the buffet to be one of the best in Las Vegas. Figured - if the room stinks, we can always collect the buffet and leave - chalk it up to experience. Well, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfort of my hotel room and enjoyed Freemont Street Experience without having to drive. Only one downfall, the bathroom had not been updated therefore, the shower was unacceptable. The dribble of water that came out of the shower head could not be regulated and went from hot to cold all throughout the shower. The first time, I thought, "Well, someone in a nearby room is using the shower and the plumbing is old." However, it did not matter when we tried, the shower was always the same and it was not an option to take a bath because you just couldn't talk me nor my sister into sitting in the old tub with the glued-down bath mat.
