Inside the infamous Pyramid, discover fantasy, fun and luxury
Let's be straight: If this pyramid-shaped resort was just a gimmick, it wouldn't have lasted. And recent updates have definitely put the Luxor back on the map. Entertainment takes the spotlight, including edgy magician Criss Angel, primo prop comic Carrot Top, the sexy Fantasy showgirls, Menopause the Musical and two great exhibitions, Titanic and Bodies. superior staff
the staff at the luxor was superior. I have to highly commend Justin Costa front services manager who was outstanding. He provided five star service. the registration was easy, the personal greeting vie email after checking in was full of extra information about the hotel and services. Justin met ALL my business needs for my staff and company.

Comfortable place to stay
I had an overnight stay in Vegas, and I was so pleased about my stay at Luxor. The staff put me in a room that was close to the entrance. It was quiet, the bed was comfy and it felt 4 star.

Wasn't what we expected
We had a room in the pyramid and it definitely needed updating. The windows are slanted (because of pyramid shape) and the ceilings are low so it felt very cramped. I would not stay again.

Luxor
You'd think that a hotel with this stature, location, and grandiosity would be awesome but it's average at best. There's no wireless in the rooms and I had to go to a restaurant in the lobby to get on the internet.. The beds are hard but ok. The buffet was overpriced. When was the last time they cleaned the outside windows? I'm sure there are better places to stay than this...

Worse for wear
Unfortunately given how much other hotels have raised the bar in the area. The luxor is looking a bit ratty. The room was clean enough, but the cabinets were falling apart and the hotel overall looks a bit "used". Which is a shame.
