Inside the infamous Pyramid, discover fantasy, fun and luxury
Let's be straight: If this pyramid-shaped resort was just a gimmick, it wouldn't have lasted. And recent updates have definitely put the Luxor back on the map. Entertainment takes the spotlight, including edgy magician Criss Angel, primo prop comic Carrot Top, the sexy Fantasy showgirls, Menopause the Musical and two great exhibitions, Titanic and Bodies. The hot nightclubs LAX and CatHouse are here too, alongside several casino floor lounges, fantastic restaurants and a big pool deck. ok
The Luxor had large comfortable rooms. we were in the north tower it had an ok view. Love the bathroom. I was a long wait to check in but they were very help full and we got an upgrade for a good price. I wish there were better dinning options after 10 pm though. While i was there the tram was down so we had to drive every where and it always took 10 min to get the car.

VERY PLEASANT
CHECK IN WAS VERY FAST AND DESK WAS VERY ACCOMADATING...BELL SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT...WE ASKED FOR LATE CHECK OUT ON SUNDAY...WAS ACCOMADATED AND BELL SERVICE TOOK CARE OF OUR BAGS FOR US....GENTLEMEN AT CAB LINE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND GRACIOUS....OVERALL STAY WAS A DELIGHT....THE ONLY THING THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND IS BEDS WERE REALLY WORN....AT LEAST SHOULD PUT ON MATTRESS TOPPERS OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT....OTHER THAN THAT EVERYTHING GOOD

Very Comfortable
The Luxor hotel and casino was a great choice for my husband and I. We are in are late twenties and had a blast. There is a wide range of ages and it was well suited everyone. We had a room in the pyramid and is was larger that I imagined it to be. Spacious and clean. I would definitely stay at Luxor again.

Layout confusing
Although it was a bit confusing to get around, the Luxor had everything that we needed. Rooms were large enough for 2 people and the bathroom was more than adequate. I liked that the tub and shower were seperate. It was discouraging that one had to pay $25/day just to work out.

First Timers
My husband and I had never been in the Luxor Hotel before and found it very delightful. Convenient to everything. Every amenity at your disposal. Checking in and out were a breeze. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

There's lots of places to choose from but we opted to go to the nearby mall between Mandalay and the Luxor and had a fabulous Cosmopolian at a place called Giorgio's.

A number of annoying incedental charges
While overall, the hotel was great, there were a number of incidental charges that were just annoying, i.e. $2 per day for the phone whether you used it or not; $10 per day to use the fitness center....

Good value for the money
The Luxor is not the cheapest hotel on the strip, but it's by no means the most expensive either. I had read some reviews of some of the other less expensive hotels on the strip, and most were not so favourable. Location was also a factor as I wanted to be close to the action. Good location, the room was great, the pool was huge and the casino was great as well. I would stay here again.

excellent service/cleanliness/convenience
My check-in was without incident, my room was immaculate, the location convenient. I felt safe traveling/staying alone there & would plan a similar trip there again.
