Let's be straight: If this pyramid-shaped resort was just a gimmick, it wouldn't have lasted. And recent updates have definitely put the Luxor back on the map. First time in Vegas
The Luxor hotel was great the staff was wonderful. I'd recommend staying in the towers rather then the pyramid due to the liveliness of Vegas the towers are much more quite and relaxing. My fiancé and I have made a commitment to stay only with the Luxor for our future Vegas adventures. Location wasn't ideal it was a bit of a walk to the strip. Although a little pricey it was a great and much needed experience..

Typical 2 bedroom hotel.
Don't really have any complaints, don't really have any praises. Everything was clean, the staff were friendly enough, and the location worked. The pool area looked nice, but I didn't get the chance to use it. Just your all around fairly priced economy (clean) room.

Not bad for the buck
Great value for a nice hotel. Not a bad location. Only bad experience was an alarm went off in hotel around noon(which was the middle of my sleep) and the card dealers could of been more personable.

The only thing that would have been nicer is a coffee maker in the room. One or two cup coffee maker would have helped our morning off .

Great family hotel. Loved the titanic exhibit. Good buffet, Teens enjoyed walking throuh shops to mandalay bay, riding tram to excalibur & walking over walkways to mgm grand and new york. Felt very safe walking @ night and seeing the lights! Stayed in the pyramid and fun looking out the angled window. Yummy breakfast at their cafe!

Comfortable place to stay
I had an overnight stay in Vegas, and I was so pleased about my stay at Luxor. The staff put me in a room that was close to the entrance. It was quiet, the bed was comfy and it felt 4 star.
