Inside the infamous Pyramid, discover fantasy, fun and luxury
Let's be straight: If this pyramid-shaped resort was just a gimmick, it wouldn't have lasted. And recent updates have definitely put the Luxor back on the map. Entertainment takes the spotlight, including edgy magician Criss Angel, primo prop comic Carrot Top, the sexy Fantasy showgirls, Menopause the Musical and two great exhibitions, Titanic and Bodies. The hot nightclubs LAX and CatHouse are here too, alongside several casino floor lounges, fantastic restaurants and a big pool deck. Not Pleased Either
Not so special occassion.
We visited Las Vegas a year ago and stayed down towards the other end of the strip. The stay there was very nice. This year we decided to go back for a very special occassion but this time chose the Luxor mianly for a couple of shows we wanted to see. At check in we were asked what brought us to the Luxor and when we stated what the occassion was, it was like no big deal, not even a congratulations. I felt right then we made the wrong decision and the rest of the stay just proved it. The silver day only comes along once in a lifetime and should be a happy time whether around family or a hotel staff.

Extremely helpful
This was our third time staying at the Luxor and we have yet to be disappointed. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They even printed out our boarding passes for our return flight.

Luxor Vacation
The casino has a friendly atmosphere and was very clean. We wanted to see a show on Sunday or Monday but unfortunately shows are only available Tuesday-Saturday. It wasn't a big dissappointment just something thought about spur of the moment. This is my first time staying on this end of the strip and the hotel is in the perfect location in reference to the "HOT SPOTS."

Great place to stay
I dont stay anywhere else! love this hotel!! Only downfall is it as at the end of the strip so be prepared to walk or taxi it to the main part of the strip! Otherwise wonderful!!

Great Stay!
The Luxor was amazing!!! The staff was very nice and the room was so clean. I got a room upgrade which was very nice. The elevator was weird because it went sideways as it went up/down (not good when you've had a few drinks).

This is an old hotel. No wifi in rooms. Furniture is old and needs to be updated. At least it is Vegas and you don't spend a lot of time in the room.

To the moon and back
Good location
Great location, nice hotel. Self Parking in the back is not entirely obvious especially if you are coming in at night. The sign blends in with the building. The room was fine- could have used more light but maybe they don't want too much light because it messes up the exterior look of the pyramid. Also close to the airport.
